Vivica A. Fox recently did a series of interviews with Vlad TV where she discussed a handful of things. She talked about her most famous roles from Kill Bill to Set It Off, listed off some of her regrets, and as always addressed her decades old relationship with rapper 50 Cent. The two shared a short lived courtship in the early 00’s that has lived well passed its prime in internet memes and shady back and forth’s from the former flames. 50 Cent famously claimed that Vivica did some extra things for him in the bedroom, things she’s now coming forward to deny.
Vivica has been very candid about her time with 50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson. She’s even called him “the love of her life”. During the earlier released segments of her Vlad interview she doubled down on this, claiming he was the one that got away. His current girlfriend Cuban Link was not to happy about this, and took to her social media to let Vivica know she’d seen the interview.
Under a post from the Shade Room showing a snippet of the interview, Cuban comments “aww” followed by a violin emoji. Not one to be out done, Viviva took to her story to let Cuban know she had nothing to worry about, saying “don’t get nervous! Im good!” Fox let Cuban know that the full interview actually featured a moment where she compliments 50’s new woman and acknowledged that they’ve both moved on. Cuban shot off a couple more tweets before retreating from the beef.
50 Cent and Vivica famous dated in 2003, even walking the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards that year. The two initially connected after 50 flirted with Fox while accepting an award at the Soul Train Awards. “We met after he said the thing at the Soul Train Music Awards. ‘And I want to thank Vivica Fox for wearing that dress,’” Fox said about their first interaction. “I was shocked. I was just kinda like, wow. And then after that, his people got in touch with my people and next thing I know, we were on the phone and my birthday was coming up and he’s such a gentleman. He’s very generous. I know him as Curtis, always will, and the 50 Cent, those are his performing things and who he is as a man. So, I met Curtis.”
In the years since, rumors of their love life have been constant internet fodder. One rumor claims that Vivica used to “eat 50 Cents groceries”, something she cleared up on Vlad TV. “so false, I never went near his a**” she told Vlad. See the full interview below.
