Actress Tisha Campbell is known for her one of the kind comedic chops honed after decades in Hollywood. The former Martin and My Wife & Kids star is a pretty funny lady, and has 2.1 million fans tuned in to see her day to day hilarity. Well those fans were in for a treat this week as Campbell took to her instagram to reveal that she had a face off at her local grocery store with a bear.
Campbell was recently in the news as details of he divorce from Duane Martin came public. The pair was together from 1996 to 2006. After 2 decades things seemed to sour between the two and they separated, leaving Campbell with nothing. Many believed the two were having financial issues because their divorce coincided with them filing for bankruptcy.
“No one knows that, but I had nothing. Nothing in the bank, nothing. I had maybe seven dollars to my name,” she said in an interview at the time. “And I was scared. It was like I was starting all over.” She continued “Starting over is not always the easiest thing, but it’s a necessary thing, and it’s a beautiful devastation.”
Campbell has kept busy since then. Her and friend Tachina Arnold have been hosting the Soul Train Awards for some time now, with several viral performances and moments from their stints hosting.
Going into this year, it was announced that Campbell was cast in Fox comedy Outmatched and will play Rita, a mother of three who works as a casino pit boss. She was also in the 2018 film Blindspotting and had a recurring run on the hit show Empire, using her Broadway talents and music experience to play the character of a diva.
Campbell was recently in her local Ralph’s in Porter Ranch California. While there and perusing the isles, she was greated by a small bear that has clearly wandered into the store lost. In the clip Campbell looks visibly disturbed and confused as she addresses her followers. “I’m at my local Ralph’s and this happened” she said before cutting to the bear. Someone can be heard whispering “Hi Baby”, which Campbell clarifies is not her. She then runs off to her car terrified. Check out the hilarious video below.
