Allegations Of Offset Cheating and Having Another Baby On The Way Hit Social Media, Cardi B’s Team Confirm The Information Is Inaccurate

Ever since the news broke of Cardi B, real name Belcalis Almanzar, filing for divorce from her marriage to rapper Offset, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus, the Internet has been on a rabid search in the hopes to find out the reason behind Cardi’s decision to finally dissolve the union for good.  Social media continues to play guessing games over the soon to be ex-couple’s situation, and more speculations continue to rise as time goes by.

The tumultuous relationship has come to an end after the couple secretly wed on September 20, 2017.  They welcomed their first and only child together, baby girl Kulture Kiari Cephus, the following summer on July 10, 2018.  Throughout their whole marriage, it seems as though reports of infidelity would plague the pair.  Reports that Offset had cheated had surfaced, and sources close to E! said Cardi tried to forgive Offset afterward.  The source claimed “He has been pleading with her that he hasn’t, but many girls have come forward with claims. She had enough and decided to file.”

After the initial accusations of Offset emerged, the Bronx native confirmed that Offset was at the center of the adult tape scandal, and filed for divorce, before retracting the filing to work it out for the sake of her family. She did an interview with Cosmopolitan in February 2018 where she revealed her decisions for staying. 

“I know I look good, I know I’m rich, I know I’m talented,” said the “Be Careful” rapper.  “I know I could get any man I want — any basketball player, football player.  But I want to work out my s–t with my man, and I don’t got to explain why.  I’m not your property. This is my life … I’m going to take my time, and I’m going to decide on my decision,” she added. “It’s not right, what he f***ing did, but people don’t know what I did, ’cause I ain’t no angel.”

Fast forward to this month and it is evident that Cardi has had enough, as since then, more rumors of Offset’s infidelity did come about.  A source for the couple revealed to People, “Offset has pretty much cheated the entire time [they’ve been together], but Cardi looked the other way because of the baby,” and that “She also didn’t want to be embarrassed. But she’s had enough.”

New speculations surrounding Cardi’s decision began to materialize.  One such arose that the reason for the divorce was due to Offset impregnating another woman (which would make it 5 children, 3 being from previous relationships and daughter Kulture with Cardi) which some outlets began to report. 

Hollywood Unlocked, however, revealed they had a conversation with Cardi’s team and confirmed Offset is not expecting another child, debunking the rumor that this is the reason for the recent filing.  As of now, there has been no official statement from either party as they have not publicly spoken out on the issue nor has any exact reason been shared with the public.
