Megan’s gathering more and more support from the hip-hop community since she revealed the extent of the injuries that she suffered, while also naming her attacker directly – Tory Lanez. The “Girls in the Hood” rapper shared the gory pictures before removing them in order to prove the authenticity of her story. It still seems as if even that was not enough.
“Lol what I have learned abt majority of the people on social media is y’all like to hear bad news before good news, a lie spreads quicker than the truth, and y’all really be believing the sh** YALL make up,” Megan wrote in her caption.
“I got hit at the back of my feet because when I got shot I was WALKING AWAY FACING THE BACK. why would I lie abt getting shot? Why are y’all so upset that I don’t wanna be in the bed sad ? Why y’all upset that I can walk ? I got my stitches out my feet like 2 weeks ago and I was ready to go celebrate WAP going number1… I usually don’t address internet BS but y’all people are so sick! God was really watching over me and I’m healing so well!”
Now, a respected figure in hip-hop from Megan’s home state is speaking up on her behalf and letting everyone know that the situation is serious and Megan is not the one in the wrong. Bun B of the group UGK thinks Tory Lanez had “no reason to shoot this girl.”
“I tried to be impartial and cool about this, but f— that man,” said Bun B in a posted video.
While Bun B spoke up in support, yet another pair of rappers are showing their callousness with regards to Megan’s ordeal. Southern rappers Cash Talk and Waka Flocka Flame are under fire for perceived comments towards Megan – after Megan responded herself, especially.
Cash Talk wrote on his Instagram Stories, “Megan 6 feet, Tory 5’2″, We don’t know what the hell happen in that car. Y’all know females be tripping and s–t!!! All these cap a** rappers picking a side like little B**c**s and s**t.”
There are screenshots that show Waka commenting with two “100” emojis. It must have set Megan off seeing Waka’s emoji’s however, and she wrote back “He didn’t make it past the 9th grade I expect nothing less coming out of his mouth.”
Waka eventually responded saying that he left the emoji’s in reference to Cash Talk’s t-shirt but no one really believed that – and he knew it. Ummm I was talking bout the shirt,” clarified Waka. “Damn y’all think Of me like that bool.”
See the post below.
Following The Shade Room posting the image, Waka’s wife, Tammy entered the chat insisting he was NOT agreeing with the rapper, and that both of them are on Megan’s side.
Megan Thee Stallion responded to Tammy’s rebuttal acknowledging she was NOT taking about Waka.
