Lousiana Rapper Lil Boosie doesn’t care how newly elected Vice President Kamala Harris name is pronounced. “I call her Camilla” said the 37 year old in a recent interview with VladTV. The sit down comes only a few days after Boosie took to social media to vent his frustration after fellow Lousiana MC and his former cellmate Corey Miller was left off former president Donald Trump’s pardon list.
“When i call somebody something, thats what makes me special. once i call you that, thats what i call you.” he told the interviewer, when speaking on Harris. Despite the person correcting him and warning him of potential negative blow back in the comments, Boosie insisted on continuing to mispronounce the new Vice Presidents name.
“I wanna meet her though. I want to meet her. She f—ed me up when she said she [mess] with Tupac.” he stated, quickly switching the focus to his incarcerated friend saying “I want to meet her, and tell her to tell the governor to pardon him. he deserves to be home.”
Boosie was very upset when rappers like Lil Wayne and Kodak Black recieved pardons over his friend. He, and other celebrities like Kim Kardasian and R&B singer Monica had been campaigning for the pardon for over a year. He even reached out to Kim via social media last summer saying “@kimkardashianwest If You Free CMurder I Got You For Life… That’s On Bleek”

When they were not able to get him pardon, Boosie told his 1 millions followers “Everybody can get a pardon but #cmurder #innocentman 20#years+ IM PISSED THE F*** OFF TODAY don’t wanna y’all to anybody today so don’t call THANKS”
Elsewhere in the interview, he was asked about the impact of Harris being in office. Boosie, father to 5 daughter, stated the moment and its significance was not lost on him. “It gives just not my kids, but a whole generation, bigger hopes and boss thinking. more people will want to be her and that change a generation.”
