The ongoing (and possibly one-sided) saga of Boosie versus Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg continues to grow with an explosive new interview. Boosie’s come out in force and has alleged that Zuckerberg may be “racist” and think he’s gone “too far” when it comes to the status of his deleted Instagram page.
Despite warnings and the like, Boosie’s first Instagram page, @officialboosieig, was suspended.
Now that the country has entered an age of wildly spreading disinformation, social media platforms have become even more sticklers of the rules. Even with that, you’d think that the rapper would monitor his activity on the platform, especially after being suspended before for breaking their rules.
It was one violation too many however, because now Boosie’s claiming he’s been shadowbanned from his new @newboosieig Instagram account and going “live.” It wasn’t long ago however that Boosie was begging “Mark Zuckinburger” aka Mark Zuckerberg to restore his first account.
“They just took my Instagram,” said the deflated Boosie. “Mark Zuckinburger, I need to talk to you. Bosses need to talk to bosses. I don’t know what I did but I need my Instagram back. I don’t even know what I did! But this is how I feed my family. Mark, do not do this to 2020. Do not take Boosie off Instagram! We need to talk, Mark.”
After that plea didn’t work, he took to bribing one of the world’s richest people into giving him his Instagram account back – for $100,000.
In fact, Boosie seems to think that there’s a conspiracy against him now since he messed up Mark Zuckerberg’s real name – and that’s what’s been happening to his new account. Appearing on DJ Vlad’s show, Boosie sat down and ripped into the Facebook CEO, leveling a litany of allegations against him.
“You didn’t get his name quite right,” says Vlad. “Yeah,” says Boosie before his face drops and he suddenly gets very somber after previously just joking with the host. “And that sh*t done backfired bro, and he made some of my business ventures go down. So I’m suing him, I’m filing a lawsuit against him now,” said Boosie.
“What did he do to make your business ventures go down?” Boosie replies, “He stopped me off Instagram and he didn’t put me back on Instagram and that’s affecting my business.”
Boosie then goes into a tirade, noting that there are various people who have violated Instagram’s rules repeatedly but are still allowed to return to their accounts after their suspensions. Boosie says that it was the first time his Instagram has ever been taken from him.
“I didn’t do nothing but post a girl with an emoji over her. This is discrimination,” says the rapper. Something is wrong. Somebody must be mad because I said that name wrong and they’re trying to chastise me.”
Boosie then says that his “Black people are starting to tell” him that “Boosie, this man is a racist,” and that Zuckerberg “knows” that Boosie affects the “Black community and makes them smile every morning.” Boosie then turns the fact that because he makes Black people smile, Zuckerberg is definitely not giving him his page back.
Boosie claims he’s suing the billionaire for $20 million dollars.
