The two were in a longstanding relationship for years before Proctor left Newton due to infidelity. She is now seeking a hefty monthly child support payment of $15,000 a month for their four children.
Proctor and Newton met after she moved to Atlanta to further her career as a model in 2013. In 2015, Proctor gave birth to their first child together, Chosen Sebastian Newton. Since then, Kia has given birth to three more children for Cam: Sovereign-Dior, Camidas Swain, and Cashmere Saint. Both also have children from previous relationships; son, Jaden, as well as Kia’s daughter Shakira, whom Cam claims to love dearly as his own.
Their love story would not have a happy ending, as Cam was busted with a secret love child, Caeser Lorenzo Newton, with Instagram model and former Miss Azerbaijan La Reina Shaw. In a bizarre twist, Newton sued Proctor for paternity tests on their four children, as well as joint physical custody and visitation rights.

She countersued the current New England Patriots player for full physical custody, child support, health benefits, life insurance for the children and her lawyer and expert fees.

Cam is very vocal about the love he has for his children. In a moving Instagram post for Father’s Day 2020, Newton wrote “I’m a proud father of seven. A DADDY isn’t defined as the man who makes the child (NOT in all instances),” he said. “But rather a MAN who extends his hands and time to help with the child’s raising and his heart to LOVE the child through anything!!
“Blood doesn’t always make you [a] DADDY,” Newton continued. “Being a dad comes from the heart… Anybody can make a baby but it takes a real man to raise a child. Kudos to all the real men worldwide!! Happy Father’s Day to us.” He then went on to list, by name, all seven of his children.
