Hate her or love her, Cardi B will continue to speak her mind. Often times if you listen, you may hear some gems when she speaks. The problem is, sometimes what we speak does not match up to our own lives. There are times that Cardi will drop some nuggets for her followers, but at times she gets a lot of pushback (as do many on social media). Her latest attempt to give advice proved to bring the same end result.
Cardi B is the definition of an open book. Transparency should be synonymous with the chart-topping rapper, which may rub the wrong way. Nevertheless, she has a strong core of fans and supporters that hold her down.
Not only is she a consistent hitmaker, she also is a wife and mother. Cardi married Migos rapper Offset in September of 2017 and the two share a daughter, Kulture. Their marriage hasn’t been an easy road as infidelity has plagued it time and time again, threatening the nuptials. More than once, Cardi has walked away from the vows after being tired of her husband’s alleged extramarital affairs.
Nevertheless, Cardi has stuck with Offset, reconciling each time. The Bronx rapper is not shy of singing her husband Offset’s praises, like the time when she participated in a “73 Questions” interview with Vogue.
“I love that I feel secure with him,” Cardi explained, and true to herself added, “He makes me feel protected… I love him bigger than my a**, and my a** is big.”
The “UP” rapper graced People with a candid interview on why she chooses to reconcile with her husband and father to her daughter. “I feel like we just really are a very regular couple,” she tells the mag, stressing that her decision is a “personal thing.”
“We just do regular things,” Cardi shared. “I just feel like: We’re famous … we’re really popular right now — I just don’t know the obsession, like I feel like everything we do is a big deal. Even before the bad scandals, just from the first time they seen us together, it was just like this big crazy deal.”
Just as she was going through it with Offset, another major celebrity, Khloe Kardashian, was going through her own cheating scandal with her significant other. As Cardi was in the middle of an interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood radio show, she offered some advice to Kardashian while in the wake of her scandal with Tristan Thompson.
“Do what your heart feel like doing. At the end of the day, everybody wanna act like they date deacons and pastors and their relationship is perfect,” the “WAP” rapper said. “You don’t know what type of things going on in their relationship. People make it seem like this happened two weeks ago. Let them work things out.”
In the same interview, she shared how she and Offset were able to withstand the hefty pressure that she was facing to leave her husband. “Like I said, in the beginning of our relationship we had our doubts about each other, things weren’t perfect,” she said. “I had my suspicions but we kept stuff private between us. We just worked it out.”
She added, “Everybody was like let it go, but the people that love me, and know me, and know us, was telling me to work it out,” she said. “My dad drives me around and everything, and he saw the whole thing when I was sad and everything and he said, ‘I really think you two should work it out.’”
And work it out they are. The couple seem to be back on track as of late.
This past Valentine’s Day Cardi shared some advice to her followers in the midst of the celebrated day of love. This, about the level of gifts that women should get their men. “Men do deserve to get gift as well for Valentine’s Day, but the gift have to be less expensive then the girls gift . Soo if he buys you flowers you buy him grass,” she tweeted.

Twitter, however, wasn’t having it as she had just bought Offset a Lamborghini recently; especially with their history. “Not these women taking advice from someone whose husband bought her a $330k Rolls Royce, then she bought him a $700k Lamborghini,” tweeted one user. Another writes, “But she bought a $700k Lamborghini for her man while her man gifted her $300k. ”
Well, as Charlamagne tha God usually says: “Act your wage.” And in true Cardi fashion, she came back to her fans with a clapback that proves she did just that. “I got 550K ring on my left hand ,400k ring on my right ,Thousands of dollars In Birkins ,soo much jewelry, a lambo truck and rollsRoyce truck,” wrote the Bronx rapper, “so we even in gifts.”

Her latest bit of advice that she came forth with on social media was meant for women and simple actions that can be done to keep their man. On Twitter she writes, “Putting lotion on Everytime you shower ,Keeping your nails and toe nails clean and done, loaded with face and body products in your cabinets it’s little thing that men see and peep and really like ladies.”
Once again, fans came forward with their thoughts to counter what she had to say. “Most women do those things for themselves cause a majority of us do not care what men like,” said one.
Another questioned, “I had to read this twice… Cardi is this not a norm of self love and yourself pls,” while another writes, “he’s still gonna cheat on you babe. Delete this.”
