Does Chris Brown have a “New Flame”? The superstar singer’s fans always love to know whether or not he has love in his life, and Brown is being a bit candid on his current relationship status.
Chris Brown is known to have dated many women in the past, including and most famously Rihanna as well as Karrueche Tran. A father of two, Royalty (5) and his latest toddler Aeko Catori Brown, Brown remains one of the world’s most sought after superstars. Ever since the birth of Aeko, fans have been wondering whether or not he and his baby’s mother Ammika Harris are still together.
The “Go Crazy” singer spent his Valentine’s Day as a guest on the newly formed show/podcast on REVOLT TV called Respectfully Justin. Hosted by Justin Combs and popular Instagrammer Justin LaBoy, the show is centered around hilarious memes, conversations on sex, relationships, music, entertainment, and other “unapologetic” topics.
The “Toxic Valentine’s Day” show was the debut episode and also featured a cameo from Kevin Durant via FaceTime. Brown would later join in for the “Heads Up Respectfully Justin” segment where he was asked about his current relationship status. His response was a rather complicated one that brought laughter from the guys, but side-eyes from the women and a whirlwind of backlash on social media.
“I’m single with a girlfriend,” Brown said bringing the hosts to press further on with the questioning. Chris instead took a shot to divert from answering.
Then Chris Brown was asked which of his famous exes he would reach out to via text to try and rekindle their romance. The singer insisted, however, that he wouldn’t send a text to any of them which seemed to make everyone skeptical. Brown then went on to further explain himself.
“I wouldn’t run down on her because then you’ll just look thirsty,” said the singer. “For me, I’ll rather just watch you grow and do your thang. You want to come back over here, then I’ll be like, ‘Hey, what happenin’? But if not, then alright babe peace.”
Fans who caught wind of Chris’s comments on the show began to flood social media with criticism. “Regular n****s thinking they can get away with s**t Chris Brown get away with and women thinking they get can get Lori Harvey treatment. Listen to Kevin Samuels, date inside your pay grade lol,” commented one user on Twitter. Another wrote that he was “toxic” for his statement saying, “Chris Brown said he’s single with a girlfriend. Huh? [laughing emojis] he is beyond toxic.”
