Chrissy Teigen Sadly Reveals Shell Will Never Have Another Baby After Suffering Loss Of Unborn Son, Jack

After losing their unborn child Jack to a stillbirth pregnancy, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend catalogued their journey on social media to share their own story of resilience and grief with others. Teigen has always had an outsized presence on social media but now she’s sharing a heartbreaking update months after her loss.

The year has seen an outsized increase in stress among many, as the world has shifted to being indoors exclusively through the summer, fall and now winter months. During a time when hospitals and otherwise are gripped by a global emergency, even routine procedures like childbirth are even complicated. The sharing of their story touched a lot of people, even if the trolls also found reason to attack Teigen.

The couple received considerable pushback after Teigen shared their pictures while the couple were in the hospital and going through their ordeal. Teigen has often battled with trolls on her own Twitter account and yet they still found cannon fodder in her heartfelt posts. Going through an ordeal like the loss of a child is already difficult, but the addition of the trolls also seemed to bring additional stress to the mother of two.

While alt-right trolls focused on her previously shared stances on a number of issues, others focused on the fact that the couple posted very private and personal pictures to the internet. Many women fans felt that Teigen was normalizing discussions that needed to happen, as childbirth in America isn’t guaranteed. In addition to grieving, the couple has unfortunately had to respond numerous times to the furor to silence their detractors.

In her particularly heartbreaking post at the time, Teigen shared that they are still blessed with their two children Luna and Miles, but the fact that they had named their son Jack already, despite their normal penchant for waiting to name their kids, made the ordeal especially difficult.

“We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital.  But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack.  So he will always be Jack to us.  Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever.”

It seems that when Jack was born, they “were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions,” according to Teigen post during her time in the hospital. Even with all the life-saving measure, “It just wasn’t enough.”

Now, months later and still recuperating, Teigen posted a picture on her Instagram that showed she is still dealing with the physical changes from a pregnancy that ended without bringing home another child, and how it has now colored her future.

“Even though I’m no longer pregnant, every glance in the mirror reminds me of what could have been. And I have no idea why i still have this bump, honestly. It’s frustrating. But I’m proud of where this entire journey took my body and mind in other ways. I love being pregnant, so so much, and I’m sad I never will be again.”

Teigen gave no reason for why she wouldn’t be pregnant again but it was a heartbreaking statement to the end of a particular rough season for the Legend family.
