Actor Columbus Short has another “Scandal” on his hands. Ever since he’s been linked to former video vixen Karrine Steffans, aka “Superhead”, things have seemed to go downhill for the actor publicly. Steffans has come forth with some claims of her own, after he denied they were married, in the name of clearing the air.
After the actor was relieved of his duties in the role of “Harrison” on ABC’s Scandal, headlines also began to come about of the relationship between himself and Steffans, who was said to be married. Steffans took to social media to expose Short for cheating and posted videos of herself kicking him out. A week later it was revealed that she had gotten a restraining order against Short.
Short was soon in much legal trouble as he had been sentenced to one year in jail for assaulting his then-wife Aida Abramyan, as reported by Page Six. His sentence was, however, cut short as he only spent 34 days behind bars of his 365-day sentence.
As what looks to be her form of a “welcome home” present for the “Stomp The Yard” actor, Steffans is breaking her silence to Page Six. You see, after the actor publicly denied that he had been married to her while speaking with Sirius’ Dion Deezy, the“Confessions of a Video Vixen” author is saying that she believes that he is a bigamist.
“I’ve been silent in the press for two years, but I’m tired of all the lies they tell about me,” Steffans told Page Six. The pair got married back in January of 2016, but according to the marriage certificate that she shared with the publication, it looks as though he may have still been married to actress Tanee McCall, hence why he denied their nuptials.
Steffans also brandished text messages that Short allegedly sent to her while being married to Abramyan. While he was incarcerated, Abramyan tweeted that “Columbus and I have a great marriage,” and “missing my hubby.”
In the meantime, Steffan claims that Short texted her, “I wish I could just become the biggest movie star on the planet, wisk [sic] you away to another country and live our lives.” She also stated that he texted her, “I’ve never loved a woman other than Tanee more than loved you [sic].”
Steffans has been linked to many rappers and other prominent figures in the past. Although she has made these claims, Short and Abramyan, who is also his publicist, have denied them.
