Over the years, 50 Cent has been embroiled in various beefs with different rappers and other celebrities. One such personality includes Diddy. Although not as hefty as his others with Young Buck, Ja Rule, and Irv Gotti for example, Diddy’s latest move could be the ultimate in their battle of the petty, for he was recently seen stepping out with a prominent member of 50’s past.
50 has been known to throw jabs for seemingly no reason at whomever he chooses to be his opponent. The 50 and Diddy beef, according to HipHopDX, could stem from the “In Da Club” rapper calling Diddy a “sucker” when he interviewed with GQ in 2014. It could also date back as far as 2012 when the two reportedly almost came to blows backstage at the BET Hip Hop Awards.
More speculations arose when 50 referred to one of the Bad Boy mogul’s 2014 tracks, “Big Homie”, as garbage, while giving credit to Jay-Z during an interview with a Baltimore radio station. “You’ll see Jay around as long as he’s been around,” said 50. “What he’s on like 11 albums? Puff’s still out there. He don’t even need a record. Cause he don’t got one. Like you know Puffy ain’t got no music that you wanna hear.
“That ‘Big Homie’ s**t is garbage,” he continued. “I’mma keep it all the way real with you. Because the guy says ‘Don’t worry about if I write my rhymes, I write checks.’ And then sings to you.”
And then of course there was the matter concerning vodka. Diddy is famously known as a brand ambassador for Ciroc, owning a huge stake in the company, while 50 is attached to the Effen brand. Ever since 50 signed on with Effen his mission was to take down Diddy and the Ciroc brand with multiple social media posts aimed at Combs.
While on The Breakfast Club, Diddy was “gifted” with a case of Effen vodka with a note attached saying, “Let’s be friends— Curtis Jackson.” Whether or not Diddy took the case home, he responded to the gesture. “When you’re first starting out in these little companies, they don’t really have a lot of supply,” said Diddy. “So that’s with homeboy’s vodka, sometimes maybe you can only send a case.”
While things have been quiet on their interactions, this week photographs surfaced showing Diddy in what looked like a “Power” move of his own. The “Bad Boys for Life” rapper was spotted on what looked like a vacation with actress Daphne Joy, who is also the mother to Sire Jackson, 50’s son.
Of course, social media was sent into a frenzy. Who also saw the picture was 50 Cent and without hesitation, he shared response of his own. Taking to his social media he wrote, “Nah me and puff fight over business s**t, if he likes the girl, he like the girl.” Further suggesting that he wasn’t paying the situation any mind he wrote, “I don’t give a f**k!”

Neither Diddy or Daphne have commented on their rumored relationship.
Despite their “issues”, Diddy insists there is love between the two. “Y’all can’t see that he loves me?” he asked the Breakfast Club hosts in a separate interview when asked about their relationship. “You really think that’s hate? When you really break it down, you been out here a long time, you know he loves me.”
