Nivea blasted on to the scene in 2001 with her single “Don’t Mess With My Man”, where she warned another not to mess with her significant other or else she (and her girls) would “be the one to bring it to you”. Not only did she admonish the woman in question to leave her man alone, but Nivea also took the time to share some advice at the end of the hook, saying: “here’s a little advice for you, find your own man.” Ironically, years later, a woman is coming forward and threatening to take the singer to the “Laundromat” as she comes forward to air out some dirty laundry of her own.
A year after Nivea debuted, she reportedly began to date Lil’ Wayne, and the couple got engaged shortly after. “Wayne said, ‘I got your Christmas present with me and you’re gonna love it. It’s gonna make you smile,’” recalled the singer to Sister-To-Sister. “He got down on his knee and he was like, ‘I know I’m young, but I’ve been through enough relationships to know and understand the meaning of what love is.’ He was just perfect.”
Often crediting Lil Wayne as her first real love, it wouldn’t last and the engagement was broken off. She then began to date The-Dream, and the couple would soon marry. After 3 years, however, their marriage ended in divorce.
Nivea and Lil’ Wayne would reconcile their love affair and end up engaged for a second time. “He reached back out like, ‘Where have you been?’ It had been five years,” Nivea said to Vlad TV. “He wanted to apologize for the way it ended before. And I needed a damn friend. I felt like the whole world was laughing at me.”
The second time around would prove to end just like the first, except Nivea chose to depart once she found that he had stepped out of the relationship with actress Lauren London and also impregnated her at the same time. “I ended our relationship while I was carrying our son was because I couldn’t take that,” revealed Nivea. “I thought I could. I’m a different type of woman. I was like, ‘You know what? You love me? F**k it!’ But then I realized that’s not what I wanted. So I let it go.”
For years, the singer was out of the spotlight, silently battling various addictions while raising her children. But the singer has changed a lot of her ways and is experiencing a comeback of sorts now. She is a cast member on BET’s The Encore, bringing a fresh resurgence to her career. Fans on social media have labeled her as the “fan favorite” of the show.

However, in the midst of her newfound resurgence, a woman by the name of Quana has come on social media with allegations that the singer is messing with her man and baby’s father, rapper Lil Keed. Quana shared alleged text conversations and screenshots between the two of them and captioned the image, “Not Nivea. Girl what you gone do with Keed?”
Quana went on to share other pictures of the two of them while daring Nivea to “say it’s not her”. Messages like “My God I need your p***s” were also shared by the woman. She then goes on to post, “Then what make it so bad, I be listening to that complicated song. That’s why df I’m mad like wdf.” So far, neither Nivea nor Lil Keed has responded to Quana’s claims. Check it out below as well as some fan reactions.
