Divorce is never a painless process, it is found to be slow and torturous and perhaps those afflictions are magnified when taking place under a public microscope. Nicole Young, whose 24-year marriage to Hip-Hop legend Dr. Dre draws to a dramatic close, believes the rapper-producer might have sired children elsewhere.
Nicole, an attorney by profession in her own right, took legal action to have the Beats Headphones mogul supply any documentation that would implicate him in any paternity cases during the tenure of their decades-running union. The filing might be speculative, but nevertheless reveals the bitter truth about separation.
Nicole Young had previously made allegations of infidelity known in earlier court proceedings along with a $2 million dollar monthly spousal support claim this year. Details included $10,000 for laundry, $ 135,000 for clothes, $900,000 for entertainment, $20,000 for phone and other miscellaneous utilities. Dre’s legal defense pushed back citing the Malibu home that he allows her to remain in as well as paying for her monthly AMEX Black Card bills and approximately $5 Million in legal costs. He even had his security team deliver meals made by his private chef multiple times a week.
Ed McPherson, attorney for Dre and Larry Chatman’s Record One recording studio, produced a photocopy of a check that they allege was written by Young to embezzle $363,571.85 from the business’ bank account adding that the withdrawal was made without notice; an infraction of her fiduciary position.

If y'all recall from our previous report, Larry sent Nicole a letter stating that he would not go to the authorities if she returned every dollar she allegedly stole, and apparently, that hasn't happened. ____________________________________ In the report to the LAPD, Dre's team alleges Nicole embezzled $385,029 from their record company. Michel’le also dropped a bombshell about her former lover and collaborator, Dr. Dre. Reportedly he made his proposal to Nicole all while concurrently maintaining a romantic relationship with her. As she retells it, he asked, “Why don’t you be my mistress?” She added in a recent interview with VladTV that clashes between her and Nicole were fairly common, and at one point, “[she] threw all my baby’s portraits away…all of my memorabilia. When she moved in, I didn’t throw her stuff away; she threw my stuff away.”
Nicole has even reached out to three women who she believes Dre had extra-marital affairs with. According to court documentation, attempts to subpoena the women are underway. The women have collectively hired attorney Kris LeFan to resist any demands to appear in court. He stated, “Any extramarital affair would be irrelevant because California is a no-fault divorce state and in a pleading or proceeding for dissolution of marriage or legal separation of the parties, including depositions and discovery proceedings, evidence of specific acts of misconduct is improper and inadmissible.”

Nicole Young filed for the divorce earlier this summer under ‘Irreconcilable Differences’; a common practice under California’s long-standing ‘No Fault Divorce’ Law. While the ultimate causes driving Young to dissolve their union may be at large and undeterminable, the differences do appear to be resolutely ‘irreconcilable’ so far.
