Ex-Vice President Mike Pence and Wife Karen Pence Couch-Surfing & Homeless With Nowhere To Stay In Indiana, According To Reports

After serving for four-years as the Vice-President of the United States, it’s being reported that Mike Pence and his wife Karen Pence are currently homeless after returning to their home state of Indiana and are currently “couch surfing” at different friend’s homes.

A report by the Business Insider states that they are technically homeless despite having months in advance to make arrangements for themselves following their lose in the 2020 president election this past November. Pence is reportedly staying at a cabin owned by Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb, who uses the spot as a retreat. Several other Indiana based sources reported that Pence and his wife were “staying with family.”

Its also been reported that Mike and Karen Pence haven’t actually owned their home in over eight years. In 2013, Pence moved into the Governor’s Residence before moving to Number One Observatory Circle, where the Vice President normally stays.

During his tenure, Pence is said to have earned over $235,000 a year while serving as the Vice President and he is entitled to have Secret Service protection for 6 months following his departure from Washington DC. The same report says that Pence and former President Donald Trump have not been in contact since they were removed from the White House a week ago.

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough said on January 27th that Pence is reportedly “in fear for his life because of Donald J. Trump,” criticizing the former president for inciting the deadly riots by pro-Trump mobs at the U.S. Capitol on January 6. We’re not talking about a debate over the Import-Export Bank. We’re not talking about a debate over the organization of the United States Senate, the procedures behind that,” Scarborough said.

“We’re now talking about a movement and a president that inspired people to come to Capitol Hill to try to kill — their words, not mine — the vice president of the United States and the Speaker of the House.” Scarborough stated that Pence has been attempting to lay low following the riots, “there are people now who have Mike Pence on their hit list, because of Donald Trump … Mike Pence is in fear for his life because of Donald J. Trump.”
