Fans Concerned For Rihanna After New Images Surface With Singers Face Appearing Bruised

We all love Rihanna, right? The Barabados native who burst to stardom in 2005 as a teenaged recording artist on Def Jam is one of the best-selling acts of all times with over 250 Million units moved worldwide.

The superstar singer, actress, model, philanthropist, and fashion and beauty business mogul was recently captured in the wild with a questionable profile raising a bevy of questions.

Robyn Rihanna Fenty, as she is legally named, was photographed stopping at Santa Monica eatery Giorgio Baldiwith a bruised and battered face. 

According to statements given to TMZ by Miss Fenty’s representatives, the marks are the result of electric scooter accident. Reportedly, RiRi was out for an excursion on the e-scooter, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed until the vehicle got out of control and drove her into the ground face-first as it flipped.

These paparazzi photos circulate on the heels of Rihanna recounting her love for former beau and abuser, R&B singer Chris Brown in a recently resurfaced interview with Oprah on an Oprah’s SuperSoul Conversations podcast from 2012.

During which, RiRi proclaims, “I think he was the love of my life. He was the first love. And I see that he loved me the same way. He’s in a relationship of his own. I’m single but we have maintained a very close friendship ever since the restraining order has been dropped.” She added, “We’ve been working on our friendship again. Now we’re very, very close friends. We’ve built up a trust again… We love each other and we probably always will. And that’s not something we’re ever going to change. That’s not something you can shut off, if you’ve ever been in love.” She continued, “I think he was the love of my life. He was the first love. And I see that he loved me the same way… it’s not even about us being together. I truly love him. So the main thing for me is that he is at peace. I’m not at peace if he’s a little unhappy, or he’s still lonely.”

Chris Brown was charged with assault and making criminal threats on his then-girlfriend Rihanna back on March 5th of 2009. The incident took place during Grammy Weekend on February 9th, 2009. A number of evidence photos were leaked and somehow eventually released to the public by celebrity news outlet TMZ.

Fans are concerned that this could be more of the same, even if not necessarily Brown’s doing. One userposted, “Streets are saying rihanna was seen with bruises and that somebody beat her up? ???”
