Floyd Mayweather is taking his nickname “Money” very serious in recent weeks. The highly decorated and successful boxer is no stranger to large paydays, and his recent boxing match with Logan Paul was exactly that. In addition to the insane amount of dough shelled out for the exhibition, he also got paid from a number of sponsors looking to also cash in from the fight via ad spaces. One company in particular that paid to be displayed during the fight was OnlyFans. Now following the fight Floyd is scheduled to launch his own OnlyFans account.
Floyd has been amping fans up about exhibitions for a few months now. It was speculated that he and 50 Cent would be facing off in the ring back in February but ended up just being him and 50 doing what they do best, trolling. “What’s real popular is this celebrity boxing” said popular radio and television personality Big Tigger while interviewing 50 Cent earlier this year. “Apparently Lamar Odom is suppose to fight somebody. is there anybody that could get 50 in the ring? basically anybody you’d seriously wanna punch in the face?”
“i’d fight Floyd if I could get down there.” Joked 50. “Or he’d just have to let me not get down to 150. I tried I looked like a homeless person. I could make it down to probably, like 180.” The rapper and DJ laughed it off, obviously poking fun at Mayweather being smaller than 50. While Mayweather accepted at the time, 50 eventually backed down option to just poke fun at Mayweather instead.
He did eventually give us a fight, this past weekend against Youtuber Logan Paul. The fight has been lauded by many for being lackluster and anti-climatic with no K.O, but Mayweather maintains his goal was not to give us a good fight in the first place. When quoting people who told him “its not all about the money”, Mayweather retorted “well, your kids can’t eat legacy. The patches on my trunks were 30 million dollars alone.”
Speaking on those patches, Mayweather came out in a customer OnlyFans hat, and launched an account too. “OnlyFans will be a new experience for fans. I’m looking forward to sharing a glimpse into my life and some never before seen content while getting to know top fans.” He joins the likes of Tyga, Bella Thorne, Cardi B and more to take to the popular platform which is primarily known for pornography.
