TMZ is reporting, Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister has passed away at 62.
According to sources, law enforcement received a call around 3pm, for an unconscious male. Unfortunately, Tommy was not transported to the hospital, as he was pronounced dead at the scene. No word on the cause of death at the moment.
Tommy Lister is best known for his 1995 role as Deebo on Friday and the sequel, Next Friday (2000), where he played the neighborhood bully and antagonist to Ice Cube’s character, Craig Jones.
In 1989, the actor had a short stint in the WWF where he appeared as Zeus and faced Hulk Hogan.
Some of the actor’s other appearances include The Players Club, The Dark Knight, Jackie Brown, Zootopia, Austin Powers, and The Fifth Element.
Although the story is still developing tributes for Tommy have started pouring in across social media.

Update: Tommy Lister’s manager, Cindy Cowan said he was found unresponsive in his apartment in Marina del Rey, Calif. after displaying symptoms of COVID-19 in recent days. He had been working on a film and had to cancel shooting after falling ill, according to Variety. “He was a wonderful guy with a heart of gold. Everyone loved him. A real gentle giant,” she said, “We’re all devastated.”
