‘Ghost Is Not Dead’: According to Actress Niecy Nash, Omari Hardwick’s Character ‘Ghost’ On Power Is Still Alive and Making A Comeback

With the end of one show comes the beginning of another, and that’s definitely happening in the world of Power. Now that Omari Hardwick’s character “Ghost” has been laid to rest by his own son (spoiler alert?), the show has splintered off into many pieces. What has star Hardwick been up to? Well, Niecy Nash might have an idea.

Now that she’s married and off to her own new life, the actress has spent the quarantine getting her marriage to new wife Jessica Betts off to a rock-solid start and keeping herself busy with such relaunched shows like Reno 9-1-1 on the now defunct Quibi. She’s also kept everyone laughing with her own trademark brand of humor.

Power Book II: Ghost premiered September 6th, 2020 and features Mary J. Blige alongside her once-duet partner Method Man. Returning Power stars Naturi Naughton and Michael Rainey, Jr. also feature in the show, which covers events after the original series ended by Naughton and Rainey’s characters – killing off Ghost.

Power Book IV: Force has also started production, despite the pandemic. It features Joseph Sikora’s Tommy Egan character after he cuts ties with New York and heads to Los Angeles, following the series finale of the original franchise.

Even if Ghost died on the show, much like Tupac, it seems as if he may still be alive – thanks to Nash pointing out a spotting of the actor Hardwick in the wilds of the retail stores.

Posting a product of Omari Hardwick Fitness, a slimmer belt, Nash said “GHOST IS NOT DEAD HE SELLING WAIST TRAINERS 😂 #power I want one! 🙋🏽‍♀️.” It seems as if Hardwick has diversified his income, much like Ghost.
