Apryl Jones is the former Love and Hip-Hop Star that has the honor of being romantically linked to two members of B2K. Her relationship with Omarion resulted in 2 kids and a messy break-up. Her rebound with Lil Fizz caused even more drama and many people turning their back on Jones after feeling like she was in full violation. Quarantine seemed to come right on time for her, with the messiness of her love triangle largely getting over shadowed by the real world chaos. Now months removed, Jones is opening up about her ex’s and how she co-parents with Omarion, who apparently serves her with court documents once a month.
Jones and Omarion dated for years before joining Love and Hip-Hop. At the time she claims she went on the show as a way to help rehabilitate his reputation, as many people assumed he was gay. “That whole situation with me and O on Love and Hip Hop was completely controlled. I never even wanted to do freakin’ reality TV. His management thought it would be good for him to show who he was and his life because there were gay rumors. So to show he was in a relationship with a woman and having kids and all that, they thought it would be great.”
When they split, she eventually moved on with his former group member Lil Fizz. At the time it was super awkward, as Omarion and Fizz were in the middle of touring. Even worst because her and Lil Fizz baby mother Monice Slaughter were cast members and former friends. The two spent the last year not talking, but recently reunited on the set of Family Reunion: Love and Hip Hop Edition.
Jones recently opened up on her baby daddy and how they co-exist for the sake of their kids. She reveals that the two do not speak and instead communicate through other people to insure they’re children’s needs are taken care of.
“He has people that help him with the kids, so I’d rather preferably deal with them, you get what I’m saying?” she said. She then revealed “And I’m always getting served. That’s just the truth, that’s just the truth. So it’s like constantly having to deal with that in court.”
While she laughed it off she did stress that she is tired and would prefer they could be civil.
