You’d have to be living under a rock if you did not realize the tight grip that Chloe Bailey has on social media. It’s super hard to deny the young superstar as she titillates her Instagram followers, easily, without even trying. One could imagine how many suitors are trying to vie for Bailey’s attention, but Jaden Smith is shooting his shot!
If you take a peek into Bailey’s comment section at any given moment, you will see a countless amount of men and women singing the praises of the “Do It” singer. Chloe, as well as her sister Halle, have had joint social media accounts ever since they were introduced to the world. In 2021, that changed.

The social media-sphere was forever altered when at a time when the #BussItChallenge took over the attention spans of the public, nobody would’ve ever thought that the “winner” would be none other than Chloe Bailey. With her sister Halle’s Instagram debut taking a more demure approach as she gears up for her starring role in Disney’s upcoming remake of The Little Mermaid, Chloe’s solo introduction was an eye-opener, to say the least.
The viral challenge was shut down almost immediately when the young starlet hops into the camera frame in a bathrobe as the Nelly sample begins. While fans of the challenge were very aware of what the challenge itself brings, they were not ready for what Ms. Bailey was coming with. The beat drops, and she descends to the ground but ascends effortlessly into the minds of the majority who watched.
It was proven as her follower count swiftly accumulated to astronomical numbers. Within a week she accumulated just under a million followers. Lest we forget how she arguably perhaps started the #SilhouetteChallenge when she dropped a clip of herself in a moody room dancing seductively to Jeremih’s “All The Time”. Yup. Effortless.
It has not been all about Chloe seducing her followers, however, as she takes the time to remind us that besides her body, her musical gifts are not to be toyed with. Bailey comes through with her vocal AND production skills, bringing forth covers to stimulate the ears of anyone who scrolls their timeline daring to pass her post.
I have a confession… I never really knew which one was Chloe and which one was Halle. But hear me and hear me good.— austin williams (@austinxwill) January 21, 2021

As she works on new music (a potential solo album, maybe?) the covers pour in on her social media. In no way is Chloe a new artist, but she embodies the grind of one that wants all the smoke with success. With this, undoubtedly the comparisons to Beyonce began to take over as well.
America is still in love with the Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter, but quickly compares anyone who is anywhere near as gifted. While Beyonce’s already stamped as an undisputed legend and icon, some are wondering who will take her place as the new “it-girl”. Seeing as though the sister duo are already signed to Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment imprint, the degrees of separation are almost invisible.
But Beyonce’s daddy and former manager, Mathew Knowles, recently spoke up against that thought process. You’ve got to be kidding me, right? You’re asking me that question?” said Knowles while guesting on Leah A. Henry’s Leah’s Lemonade podcast. “Are you actually serious that you are comparing that young lady [Chloe Bailey] to Beyoncé?”
Mathew continued, “Okay if you’re talking about a movie– not talent-wise. Talent-wise? Are you telling me talent-wise, somebody is an idiot enough to compare her to Beyoncé talent-wise? Are there people saying her talent is equal to Beyonce? They’re idiots. That’s actually insulting to Beyoncé.”
Yeah, well the Internet has been mesmerized enough by Chloe to defend her against Mathew’s rant. Not only that, but her biggest supporter, Halle, came through to declare that her sister is already an “icon.”
The world seems to agree.
how amazing is it that @ChloeBailey is already an icon 💖🥰— Halle (@HalleBailey) March 5, 2021
They love her. The pictures. The visuals. The music with her sister (and now her solo performances.) Seeing her on Grown-ish. The world loves Chloe Bailey.
Joining the lovefest would be none other than Jaden Smith. Perhaps he couldn’t take just sitting on the sidelines anymore like many of her over 3 million followers. Chloe came on Instagram and dropped a photo dump as she’s in a black outfit looking more than amazing.
“She’s dangerous” she captioned the picture. Over 600k people agreed, with more than 5 thousand people commenting on the photos. Included in that number was Jaden, who agreed as he commented saying “she really is.”
Fans who came across the comment immediately surmised that Jaden was flirting with Chloe. “I would love to see this,” commented one. Another supportive fan writes, “Shoot your shot, bro!!!”
Some others weren’t as enthusiastic, who would love to see Bailey with them instead, perhaps. “Back off bro,” writes one seemingly jealous fan. Another references the relationship Jaden has claimed with rapper Tyler the Creator numerous times in the past, saying “U ALREADY DATING TYLER BRO, STOP BEING SELFISH!!!”
Oddly enough, Internet sleuths have discovered this isn’t the first time the two have traded flirty interactions with one another publicly. A few weeks ago Smith retweeted a fan’s account of Bailey asking if the public “remembered when” she posted pics of herself on a bike.

Bailey returned the love, placing a fire emoji under a picture of him as he leaned against a wall with shadows of a tree painted behind and around him.
Although Smith has proclaimed his love for Tyler the Creator, and also replied to Justin Bieber under an Instagram comment that Justin Bieber was his boyfriend, Jaden could possibly be single. Most recently it’s been rumored that he is dating English model, actress, and singer Cara Delevingne.
Meanwhile, Chloe confirmed along with her sister in an Instagram Live chat last year that she was single, although in their music they speak on dating and relationships. “What I love about creating music is that we can put our experiences in the music and that’s how we share our personal life and it’s fun because that’s how our fans can kind of see what we’ve been dealing with,” said Chloe.
