They say never meet your heroes. Fans of Kanye West might know this best, as the star’s ever shifting persona has proven to be decisive for his loyal followers, friends and family throughout his decades long career. Especially current post election, pre divorce Kanye. No one may know that better than Chance the Rapper.
One to always keep people guessing, it is believed Ye’s next project may be a documentary, if newly surfaced footage is anything to go by. The “Yeezy” documentary does not have a release date yet, but its already drumming up buzz thanks to a viral clip from it.
Chance, who was a huge fan of Kanye’s before becoming a friend and frequent collaborator, is featured in the clip with the “Through the Wire” hit maker.
Its believed Chance flew out to Wyoming to check on his idol turned friend during a particularly manic phase for Ye. Ye did not receive the check in well and laid into Chance, clearly shocking everyone in the room. While its hard to make out what he’s saying, its clear he’s furious.

Dame Dash narrates the clip and in it he explains “Kanye is finishing his album, he wants his people around. “Chance honestly, because of what he was reading, he came through to check Kanye. Kanye deals with his issues at all times. They got into it, but they worked it out.” He concluded “At the end of the day Chance was just there to be a friend.”
Clearly trying to take the heat off Kanye, Chance took to twitter shortly after and liked several posts from fans trying to make sense of the situation. “Chance flew to Wyoming to talk to Kanye like an adult but ye had so much built up emotion post rally and kriss jung un rant that he was not in the right mind State” said one tweet than Chance hearted.

No further explanation has been giving nor comment from Kanye of Chance. The documentary is currently unreleased with no official date scheduled.
