Kylie Jenner Under Fire After Sharing ‘Tanned’ Photo And Referring To Herself As ‘Brown Skinned Girl’ Reality Star Denies The Claims, Insisting The Caption Was Edited

The Queen of Instagram, Kylie Jenner, has seemed to upset her subjects once again with her latest alleged caption. While Kylie’s no stranger to controversy, her latest snafu ,during a highly divisive time like the one were in now, has caused some to call her out for a seemingly repeated behavior – comparing herself to a Black girl.

After the weekend from hell happened to Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez, the Internet started pointing fingers at who the fault lay with. The pool party hopping weekend turned chaotic after Megan and Tory left Kylie Jenner’s house and people wondered how involved she was in the whole ordeal.

Instead, Kylie tried to give everyone a heart attack to distract from all the bad press she’s been getting just for just who she hangs with these days. Though she’s not been directly involved with a lot of the things that have her name attached recently, she took her power back by posting a raunchy image to keep the focus on her.

Wearing a wide-brimmed hat with a veil covering her face, Kylie’s post had no caption. It also featured her placing her hands over her chest to prevent fully exposing her breasts.

Photos aside, there’s also been disdain for Kylie’s appearance in Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion’s new video for their duet “WAP.” Jenner has a cameo along with such other women artists and celebrities like Normani, Rosaliá, Rubi Rose, Mulatto and even Sukihana from Love and Hip-Hop: Florida but people were upset that Jenner was even included, whether or not she’s new BFF’s with Megan.

Fans were complaining about the inclusion of someone that wasn’t even a music artist over fellow up-and-coming artists like Flo Milli, Saweetie or City Girls. It cannot be denied however that including Jenner, a prominent influencer and billionaire, was a strong marketing move that was destined to get discussions started about Cardi’s latest song and visual.

With Kylie catching it from every angle, perhaps she was trying to encourage herself with her latest post of a candid shot of her in her own house – but even then, the Internet found a reason to be upset with the young mogul.

Jenner posted a series of photos of herself, in which she appears tanned, wearing a form fitted, black and white bodysuit. Looking directly into the camera, the caption currently reads “brown eyed girl,” but fans are claiming – with screenshots floating – that Kylie’s original caption read “brown skinned girl.” Jenner isn’t Black at all and her fans immediately latched on to her caption, finding fault.

“No u didn’t not change ur caption from brown skinned girl… The audacity,” one follower wrote in Kylie’s comments. “Now I see why they didn’t’ want you in the WAP video,” with “they” presumably being the fans that were initially upset at her cameo.

For her part, Kylie took to Instagram to issue a strong denial, claiming that the photoshopped captions never even existed or were typed by her.

“Saw online someone photoshopped this photo I posted to change my caption ‘brown eyed girl’ to ‘brown skinned girl.’ I never said this,” she wrote on her Instagram story on Monday.

She furthered that the original caption was just a heart and star emoji which she changed to “brown eyed girl” a few minutes later.

“That is all,” she added.
