Larsa Pippen has been a single woman since 2018. The former Real Housewives of Miami star and her NBA ex Scottie Pippen were married for almost 20 years and have 4 kids together. They had previously separated in 2016 before officially calling it quits two years later. In the time since she’s been link to several high profile men, including rapper Future.
The two where spotting together throughout the years, with many speculating that she had actually cheated on Scottie with Future. Rumors initially began when TMZ Sports had reported pictures of the pair “getting cozy”. At the time, Larsa denied the rumors, and posted an explanation to her instagram detailing the real reason for her split from Scottie. “I was married to him for 20 years, I did everything for him and my family. People change and that’s what really happened. Most people can’t even imagine being in a relationship for a week so I know it’s beyond imagination . . . Cheating wasn’t the problem.”

Future on the other hand, welcomed the rumors, releasing a song in 2017 called “Rent Money” where he claims to have slept with Larsa and takes shots at Scottie. In one verse he says “I did it by mistake, it wasn’t on purpose, end up f**king your wife/ She was choosin’ up and it was on sight/ Had her ridin’ on me like a motorbike/ Had to clean her head like a wet wipe.”
Speaking with Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked recently, she shed more light on her time with Future. Confession to have a friendship with him that maybe the rapper took more serious than her.
Speak on him and the song he mentioned her in, she had this to say, “That was stupid of him because it was not that, like he was delusional, it was not that,” she responded. “It was never that, it was like I was really sad, I was in a point in my life where I was really sad and I was dealing with like, ‘Do I move on? Do I not? Are my kids gonna be ok?’ And it was like a lot of guilt I felt and he was the guy that was there to see me go through it and he was the guy I would talk to when I was dealing with things. He gave me confidence when I was in a dark place. He served a purpose. Did I want to spend the rest of my life with him? Don’t think so, but he served a purpose.”
She dismissed Future’s antics and concluded with saying she hadn’t “realized there’s a lot of guys that will date you for clout until I moved to LA.”
