First time I heard about King Von was during the Gakirah Barnes special, and he was not convincing me that he actually liked that girl.

Barnes was notorious in Chicago for her reputation, reportedly taking the lives of over a dozen people herself.
I’m gonna forever be mind boggled that Gakirah Barnes (K.i) *allegedly* committed 20 murders before she was gunned down at age 17. That’s a lot of bodies yo…

At the time its reported that witness had identified Von as the individual responsible, but lack of evidence could not pin him to the crime so charges were not filed. More strange is that Von had tweeted at Barnes several times, even confessing to wanting her.
In documents released today, CPD detailed the information from the evening of Barnes passing, revealing the individual was wearing a Grey Hoodie and Blue Jeans.
