Meek Mill has been relatively quiet since a leaked song back in February made him public enemy number for those still reeling from the loss of Kobe Bryant. In the time since the rapper has mostly been beefing with Tekashi 69 and debuting pictures of his new son. Well it appears there might be new drama brewing for the Philly MC and his label boss Rick Ross.
Meek Mill initially kicked his career off in the late 00’s with a string of mixtapes and buzz singles. One in particular, Flamers 2: Hottest in tha City, caught the attention of several labels including T.I over at Atlanta based Grand Hustle. Meek was to be signed to Grand Hustle under Warner Bros but was sentenced to 8 months in prison and had to serve jail time first.
Eventually he was able to release music under Grand Hustle, Flamers 3 was issued under DJ Drama and promoted as a Gangsta Grillz Mixtape. During this era he was introduced to Rick Ross, who decided to collaborate with the young rapper after asking fans in Philly during a trip there which local talent he should work with. The song was an overwhelming success for Meek. When things could no longer go further with Grand Hustle, Meek and the label parted ways and he signed with his new friend Rick Ross over at Maybach Music Group in 2010.
Under Maybach Music Group, Meek has released all his biggest projects and singles to date. From DC4 to Dreams & Nightmares and Dreams Worth More than Money.
With all that success to their name you would think they’d have a solid relationship. However fans in attendance of Meek’s birthday party over the weekend saw otherwise.
Meek not letting Ross into the party is petty. Must want out that contract.

Meek Mill threw his 34th birthday party at Club LIV in Miami. The event seemed to be a big success with many in attendance taking to their social medias to share pictures and stories from the party. One story that seemed to be popping up on several twitter accounts was that Meek apparently denied Rick Ross access to the event. Several people saw Rick Ross get turned away from Meek’s section of the club. Many are speculating it is due to beef between the two and Meek wanting to get out of his deal with MMG.
Damn Meek ain’t let Ross into his section for his birthday party at Liv 🙁

DJ Akademiks took to his live stream to tell the story, omitting names. However many fans were able to read between the lines.
