Tory Lanez has got more to say. Despite a gag order that was set up against the Canadian rapper/singer that denies him from speaking on any details pertaining to the night of the incident in July of 2020 that also involved rapper Megan Thee Stallion, Lanez is figuring out more ways to express the happenings.
On July 12, 2020, the Internet and news media were set afire with reports that the “Savage” rapper Megan Thee Stallion suffered from injuries in her foot after leaving a party with Tory Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, in Hollywood Hills. Initially declining to mention who was the reason for her infliction, she alleged that Lanez was the culprit, although Lanez has and continues to maintain his innocence.
In August, Megan dropped the bombshell during an Instagram Live that Lanez was behind the weapon. “Tory sh*t me,” Megan alleged. “You sh*t me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs, lying and s**t. Stop lying.”
What would continue to follow would be traded jabs on record between both parties. Tory’s Daystar album released in September of 2020 was filled with shamelessly placed lyrics all over that were directed to Megan and the incident. On Megan’s debut album Good News, she addressed the situation in her song “Shots Fired”.
Prior to a judge prohibiting Lanez from being able to address the situation, he hopped on to Instagram Live with an attempt to clear his name as best as he could. “For the last three months of my life, I’ve been in this place where I’ve been bashed, I’ve been cut through,” he said. “Just people every single day just coming at me, coming at me, coming at me.”
Lanez added, “It’s crazy because the whole thing about it is, when this whole debacle – or whatever you call it, came about, the whole time was like … She knows what happened. I know what happened. And we know that what you’re saying and what the alleged things and the alleged accusations of my name… are not true.”
Tory Lanez finally addressed the situation with Megan Thee Stallion and says that while he still considers Meg a friend, some of the claims that have been said about him are false 👀🤔👀pic.twitter.com/2Umh3USOVT

Lanez insisted in his Live rant that the details that have been released were all “falsified” and that he did not want to spend energy speaking on the incident. “I don’t ever wanna come off like I’m here to bash this girl or I’m here to talk down about this girl or ever be at a place where, like, I’m disrespecting her, because to me, as a person, she’s still my friend,” said the rapper. “No matter what, even if she doesn’t look at me like that, I look at her like she’s still my friend.”
The rapper’s woes are far from over as he still awaits his fate that, if found guilty, could see him serving a possible prison sentence of over 20 years. But until then, he’s going to find a way to speak about it and clear his name. Prior to his appearance on New York City’s Hot 97 radio station, he tweeted that he had plans to pop up during Funkmaster Flex’s show to “get some [things] off his chest.”
U know what …. I’m not doing #LALeakers …. if ima do it …. ima do it right …….. OHHHHH FUNK FLEX ….. I’ll be there tonight !!! Gotta get some shit off my chest 🎯🎯😈😈🔥🔥🤌🏽

Lanez is now being spoken out after making fresh claims that he is being framed, as he freestyled while on Funk Flex’s show. “Shout out to DaBaby, Roddy Ricch, and Lil Baby/What I’m about to say is gon’ sound a little crazy, but it’s true so don’t flame me/Y’all all would have got your awards if they didn’t frame me,” raps Lanez.
This follows an online spat between Megan and DaBaby, who have collaborated frequently, due to his recent feature on Lanez’s single ‘SKAT”. This is also not the first time that Lanez has made the claims that he is being framed. On his song “Money Over Fallouts” found on the Daystar album, he raps: “Megan people tryna frame me for a shootin’, But them boys ain’t clean enough. I see how they teamin’ up, watchin’ and I’m calculatin. Gotta keep it quiet, I can’t jeopardize the outcome waitin’.”
