Megan Thee Stallion and Tyga Both Want A “Freak” in New Video

Tyga’s signed a new record deal with Columbia Records and is off to an expensive start with his latest single “Freak” – which features currently sizzling female rapper Megan Thee Stallion. It’s Tyga’s first since December and he’s back with a vengeance and making it very clear what he wants. Very clear.

Teaming with producer Mustard once again, Tyga’s latest single starts off with “I need a freak/to rub my hair/I need a freak every day of the week/with her legs in the air.”Turning up in some kind of futuristic sex club, Tyga walks through and performs in the center of the mayhem surrounded by, well, freaks.

Megan Thee Stallion then struts through the club, dragging a man behind her that’s on a leash. She’s clad in latex and leather, to drive home the fact that she’s also a freak – and that she’s the one in charge. She bodies her verses, laying down confident bars like “You ain’t eating/what you here for/Baby I’m a nympho/Known to keep a n***a on rock like a Flintstone.” That’s right.

While Tyga’s return to major labels is no surprise, what with all of the success he’s had as an indie artist on his own with his Last Kings imprint, Megan’s label issues are still front and center, as she fights with her label to be paid more and for a better contract. Tyga’s not worried about such things, clearly calling the Suga rapper for her vibes and bars to spice up his song – and video.

While Tyga’s not had any #1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, he’s had 3 Top 10’s: “Loyal” with Chris Brown (#9), “Taste” with Offset” (#8), and “Rack City” (#7). Seems as if “Freak” is off to a good start, with the video already racking up over 5 million views on YouTube.

Megan Thee Stallion’s latest project Suga is also out, despite her label issues. Single “B.I.T.C.H.” also features a Tupac sample and seems to be catching on with her hardcore fans, whom she calls “Hotties.” Suga is named after her next persona, whom she described to NPR as being “besties” with her other alter ego, Tina Snow. “It’s a big problem,” she said.
