Mugshot Of Rapper Nicki Minaj Released & Immediately Deleted After Being On The Run For Criminal Possession With The Intent To Use Back In 2003

Nicki Minaj is back and the Barbz are going insane as their queen preps to release more and more new material.  Over the weekend, Minaj satisfied her fans with the re-release of her 2009 fan-favorite mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty, this time with a few new extras.  As Minaj continues to shake the dust off from her hiatus, a seemingly renewed woman is opening up and becoming more candid with her followers.

The “Seeing Green” rapper has seemingly done it all within her long and illustrious career.  Working as hard as she does come with a price, however, as she has struggled with mental health issues.  In a 2011 interview with Cosmopolitan Minaj confessed that she at one point thought to take her own life.

“I kept having doors slammed in my face,” said the Queens-bred rapper.  “I felt like nothing was working. I had moved out on my own, and here I was thinking I’d have to go home. It was just one dead end after another. At one point, I was, like, ‘What would happen if I just didn’t wake up?’ That’s how I felt. Like maybe I should just take my life?’”

Further in the interview, she shared her future plans.  “I will have put out five albums and will have an Oscar and Grammys, and I will be getting married and, a couple of years after that will have a bun in the oven. My whole life is about being Nicki Minaj now. It’s a never-ending saga.”

Shoutout to Nicki for accomplishing the majority of that list! The most recent addition to that accomplishment is the birth of her baby boy, whose name still remains private, other than the affectionately nicknamed “Papa Bear” by Minaj.

Although excited when Nicki announced her pregnancy, fans were still worried if their “queen” would be returning to the music anytime soon, especially after tweeting that she would be retiring.  “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now,” she wrote before addressing the Barbz saying, “To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me … Love you for LIFE.”

Minaj continued her candid streak when she decided to open up the (social media) floor for a Q&A with fans.  In the session, she took the time to entertain fan inquiries about her personal life, including details of her childbirth.  Minaj also shared that her husband, Kenneth Petty, was also present.

In a response to a fan’s question about what her experience was like giving birth for the first time, Minaj gracefully answered that she was “butt naked” as her water broke.  “Just got out the shower & I asked him to rub my back,” she wrote. “As soon as I started scooting over to him in bed I just felt the water start coming out. I was weirdly calm & I quietly said, ‘Omg, I’m about to be in labor.’ He was very scared and I was laughing at him.”

Elsewhere, she shared that the childbirth was natural and gave further details.  “Yes, natural birth w/epidural. I pushed for 2 1/2 hours. Only b/c the first epidural didn’t wear off enough for me to feel myself pushing. Once I was able to feel the pain I pushed him out.”

Minaj also shared that breastfeeding has been easy yet painful.  Her son “latched on in the hospital which was very surprising to me,” she said before adding that moms are “superheroes.”

The rapper also took time to respond to a fan who asked her a “great question” about her mental health and if she took care of herself during her hiatus.  “It was soooo needed for me,” said Minaj. “I appreciate u guys so much for waiting. But yea, very much needed that zen for important bonding time w|my son, getting back fluid w|writing & smthn else I don’t want to discuss yet. If u know u know.”

During her hiatus, however, Minaj faced an unfortunate tragedy – the loss of her father, a moment she says was the most devastating loss in her life.

She continues to press on, however, with new music and a new outlook on life.  She continued to be candid with her fans with a tweet in which she exposed a past mugshot of hers.

“It took me years to be able to look at things like this,” she wrote in the since-deleted post. “Criminal possession with the intent to use. I did use it tho. This is so inspiring to look back. The girl was leaking and spent days in the hospital. The word on the street was that I was gonna b deported. I was so scared. LOL. I was ‘on the run.’ I rlly thought I was in a ghetto movie. I hid my car and went to stay with my Aunt in Brooklyn chile. Bwahahahaaaa. #Growth.”

The post contained personal information of hers, including her government name, Onika Maraj (which is public information) and her social security number.  Although deleted from her Instagram, the post has been shared numerous times on Twitter.

We love to see the growth and look forward to the future for Minaj.
