Offset is upset if new reports are anything to go by. The Migos front man is in some new legal issues stemming from a recent car rental.
An L.A.-based luxury rental service named Platinum Transportation Group is suing the “Clout” rapper over what it says is the mysterious disappearance of a brand new Bentley that he rented in the Spring of 2020. The vehicle was reportedly never returned when it was time to bring it back.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Offset and PTG drew up a contract in May due to him being a regular customer. Initially, Platinum stated the deal was for him to rent their new 2020 Bentley Bentayga for a couple days at a rate of just less than $600 a day.
Offset reportedly kept pushing back the return date when it was time to bring it back in. A new deal was made for him to keep the car through July.
Crazy enough, Offset posted a photo with a black Bentley around that same time, but it’s unclear if it’s the one in question. He wrote, “Numbers don’t lie. We need each other.”
Shortly after July 4th, Platinum claims that Offset stated he didn’t know where the vehicle was. He was sure who had it last or who had been driving it, but he was no longer in possession, and gave no rational explanation for where the car might be.
Offset also stopped making payments on the rental around July 25th, 2020 despite it never being returned to the dealership. He’s reported to owe over $100k. Offset has yet to make a statement on the matter.
One thing that you can’t debate about the Migos star is his love of fancy cars. He must recently posted up with a green and white Lamborghini on his instagram.
“Still got this lamb chop & don’t know what to do with it 🤷🏾♂️”
In another one he’s pictured jumping out of a gold car. “Hopped out the creepy crawler.”
