“People Are Dying Hungry”: Singer Ciara and Russell Wilson Under Fire For Paying ‘$400’ For Meal At Restaurant For Stranger

Russell Wilson and Ciara are for many the definition of #GOALS. Their relationship and romance has been a social media magnet since they first stepped out together some 6 years ago. Their love has been even more poignant for women who saw what Ciara struggled through with Future and what women who date Future continue to go through. They enjoy the thought that even with a bad public relationship and a child a woman can still rebound into something beautiful and story book-eque. The couple have been known for paying it forward and sharing their love with others.

Recently the pair celebrated their 6 year anniversary with their followers. March 26 2021 marked 6 years to the day that the pair met and became one.

“You are Beauty to Me,” Ciara, 35, wrote on her IG story alongside a photo of Wilson lounging in a pool. “How amazing we met this very day, 6 years ago. I love you so much. 3.26.15. My sweet love.”

“6 years ago today we met & fell in love,” Wilson, 32, wrote in his own sweet post.

Wilson and Ciara share son Win Harrison who is 6 months old, and daughter Sienna Princess who is 3. The singer is also a mother to a 6-year-old son. Future Zahir, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé, rapper Future.

In the time since their split, Future has made his thoughts on Ciara’s now husband very clear and public. Despite Wilson stepping into his son’s life as a positive role model, and taking on the child as his own, Future has had nothing but bad things to say about him. In his song “Juice” Future raps, “Tryna f— my baby mama, dog what’s up with you? You gon’ make me get that heat, I’m pulling up on you.”

Despite all the drama with Future, the couple continues to put on a united front and do amazing things together. Most recently they paid it forward by helping cover a Mother’s Day dinner for a nearby table while out to eat. Taking to twitter, the person posted a receipt from Mr. Chow’s in Beverly Hills where the couple covered the $383 bill plus a $200 tip. They signed the receipt saying “Keep being the beautiful Black Queens you are! Love Russell & Ciara”.

While some thought the gesture was nice, others pointed out that someone with enough money to eat at Mr. Chow’s in Beverly Hills probably did not need the help.

“Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills? Maybe they could help someone in need.” said one user.

“Anyone spending $383 on a meal, probably doesn’t need their meal paid for….” said another.

“Im jus sayin, thats alot of money for one meal. People get that much in foodstamps, a month, to feed a family!”
