Quavo and Saweetie’s breakup is looking to get a lot more chaotic. The Hip-Hop power couple called it quits last week amidst speculation that Quavo may have been unfaithful to the “Tap-In” star. The two have gone tweet for tweet, and it appears things are just getting started.
Saweetie kicked things off with a tweet announcing she was back on the market. “I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character.” She continued “I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom. Excited for this new chapter of elevation.” She also alluded to Quavo trying to patch things up with gifts.

Quavo decided to fire back sharing his own tweet on the breakup. “I had love for you and disappointed you did all that. You are not the woman I thought you were. I wish you nothing but the best.”
Fans began to speculate that the breakup was due to Saweetie’s recent guest appears on ex-boyfriend Justin Combs podcast. Quavo apparently was not a fan of her and her ex hanging out. Ironically during the interview she discussed hating liars.
Immediately following their break-up announcement, fans began to compare the couple to fellow Migos member Offset and Cardi B‘s. Many joked that maybe Offset can help Quavo get his girl back considering how many times he and Cardi have separated and reunited during their union.
Saweetie has been transparent throughout her career about how she likes to be showered in gifts. She famously said “If he not getting you a Birkin, if he not paying for your bills, then throw that n*gga back to the streets.”

Safe to say she found the right one with Quavo, the chart topping hit maker has been able to shower her with presents throughout their relationship. Now it looks like he wants some of those gifts back.

Quavo reportedly sent a repo man to get back the Bentley he brought Saweetie for Christmas. This comes after Quavo tweeted that he knew Saweetie was trying to turn their breakup into a show and decided to “play his part” this one time.
