Webster’s Dictionary should define the word “petty” with just simply a photo of rapper 50 Cent. The rapper has many beefs, but his unexpected Teairra Mari issue has come back and continues to prove that Fif doesn’t let go just that easily.
In 2018, the “Sponsor” singer sued 50 Cent for the rapper had shared an explicit video showing the singer engaging in a sexual act with her ex-boyfriend Akbar Abdul-Ahad. Teairra sued her ex-boyfriend as well for revenge porn but believes that the Power superstar had something to do with it. “Even after Instagram took the picture down, he had no remorse, no regard, and he posted another photo and complained that IG was censoring him,” said Mari and her attorney, Lisa Bloom, during a press conference, People reports.
However, a Los Angeles judge not only dismissed her claims against the rapper, but court documents also show that Mari was ordered to cough up over $30,000 of 50’s $161,660.15 legal bill – according to The Blast. Originally, the rapper requested for her to have to pay the whole thing, but the judge denied it.
Once the judgment was awarded, 50 was relentless in seeking the payment. He reveled in his win by continuing to troll Mari in attempt to get his money. The singer would soon appeal to the judge to reverse the judgment with claims that she is “broke broke” despite being paid $100,000 for her participation in her latest season of Love & Hip-Hop.
50, however, felt as though the singer was either hiding her assets or lying about her financial status. The rapper’s trolling efforts intensified on social media as he taunted the singer with posts like, “B***h if you don’t give me my [MF] Money, ♂️what’s taking you so long? Oh you ain’t got no money,” he wrote on Instagram before telling her to “figure it out.”
Mari would respond back to 50 by also calling out Mona Scott Young to ask for an advance on her money. In true petty fashion, Fif also reached out to Mona. “Hey @monascottyoung this lil b***h @misstmariii better give me my money,” he wrote. “She Saying she need a advance give me a call lady, looking good.”
The Blast reported that Mari continued to fail to pay 50. “To date, Mari has failed to pay a single dime to Jackson in satisfaction of the Judgment despite earning over $100,000 this past year. Her previous claims under oath that she is ‘broke’ no longer ring true, and it is more clear than ever that she has no intention of paying her debts.”
Mari’s failure to pay up prompted a judge to add an additional $4,392.50. Page Six reports that the singer attempted to have the judge deny the additional funds, but alas, Mari was still required to pay the money.
According to a report by Radar Online, 50 is now trying to have his money by requesting that a judge seize her assets in order to pay off her almost $40k debt to the rapper. While 50 attempts to reignite their battle, Teairra seems unbothered as she posts pictures of her new boyfriend online.
