Lil Boosie is the latest to offer his opinion following Da Baby and his controversial Rolling Loud Festival Rant. Boosie has been very vocal on his opinions pertaining to homosexuality and trans people. Da Baby is having a pretty bad week with several organizations distancing themselves from the North Carolina rapper. Boosie seems really upset and feels like the push to cancel Da Baby in support of LGBTQIA people is actually an attempt to make kids gay. His latest IG is currently going viral.
Da Baby‘s troubles began when he decided to “hype” his fans up mid set attacking individuals in the LGBTQIA community and individuals suffering from HIV. The whole thing seemed really left field and was not made better by his insistence on defending himself with very thinly veiled apologies.
He dismissed some peoples concerns saying “My gay fans, they take care of themselves. They ain’t no nasty gay n****s, see what I’m saying? They ain’t no junkies on the street” he said on his IG stories. In a follow up tweet he also said “Anybody who done ever been effected by [it] y’all got the right to be upset, what I said was insensitive even though I have no intentions on offending anybody. So my apologies”, before adding “But the LGBT community… I ain’t trippin on y’all, do you. y’all business is y’all business.”
Da Baby and Boosie have some history together. The two went viral earlier this year for a video of them slapping a man almost unconscious during a video shoot. They paid the clearly homeless and intoxicated man $500 to allow them to slap him on video.
Boosie has made many headlines for his thoughts on Zaya Wade, trans daughter of Dywane Wade and Gabrielle Union. Now he’s speaking up on homosexuality, saying he feels the media is forcing kids to be gay and that in 10 years, it will no longer be normal to be straight.
“It’s sad how y’all trying to force this gay stuff on the world,” Boosie ranted. “Its sad how y’all trying to ban artists. Y’all sad. In 10 years, it ain’t gonna be normal for a kid to be straight. Y’all tryna force it on these kids, bro. Pushing it on the artists, pushing it on all the biggest artists. You know why? Cause’ the kids love those artists. You attacking these kids.” See his full rant below.
