Rapper Da Brat Reveals Being Cheated On By Ex-NBA Baller Allen Iverson, Says She ‘Molly-Whooped’ Female In Hotel Over Him

Rapper Da Brat has had a full 2020, with this year being the moment that she decided to come out of the closet despite her decades-long music career. The platinum rapper sat down with an old friend to dish about their shared ATL career origins, the music business and of course, Da Brat’s recent life changes.

Earlier this year, Da Brat was in the press for comments about someone else’s sex life – that of one of her best friends, legend Mariah Carey.

Us Weekly reported that an Eminem insider shared that the 8 Mile rapper is “expecting” to hear about their beef in Mariah’s upcoming book. “Eminem’s Achilles heel has always been Mariah Carey. They had a very toxic relationship. He knows that Mariah is going to say very negative things about him. He is expecting the onslaught, and almost welcomes it.”

Da Brat spilled some advance tea before the book comes out. The rapper, who is a co-host on Dish Nation, spoke up about her friend Carey’s upcoming memoir and confirmed Eminem’s worse fears.

“He was never in bed with her. Let’s get this clear,” said Da Brat. “When y’all read, y’all will see that he prematurely ejaculated when they had all of their clothes on because he was excited that he was with Mariah. There was no sex.”

Confirmed or not, it was a bit of a surprise given that she’s been one to keep her own life private for many years.

Da Brat sat down with Variety magazine for their Pride issue this year, in which she came out of the closet after more 20 years as a visible artist in the industry. She confirmed her relationship with Kaleidoscope Hair Products CEO Jesseca Dupart in an Instagram post in March, confirming what Da Brat says many people knew.

“I’ve always felt like being private is the better way to go, because then you don’t have so many people in your business,” Brat told Variety. “I was fine staying quiet, but my partner is a social media mogul — that’s how she became who she is. And when you get with somebody, you have to meet in the middle. So to me, the middle was just letting everybody know: ‘Hey, she’s the one.’”

While coming out was no doubt an emotional experience, it seems as if Brat is adjusting just fine, sitting down for a chat with her old friend and ATL music stalwart Kandi Burruss of Xscape fame. The two chatted about their careers – and of course, how Da Brat came out, but she still had one love that got away back in the day. Apparenty, she used to date NBA basketball great Allen Iverson.

“He had a baby mama, some kids, he had a lot of stuff going on. It lasted for a good while. Both of my grandmothers loved him…It just didn’t work out. He had too many b****es. I think the last straw was we were sitting in the hotel, and this half-naked b**** walks up the hallway, talking about she’s looking for him…I must have molly whopped that b*tch down the hallway.  I was like you know what, I said I can’t do this.  I said I can’t do this with you.”

Clearly she didn’t stay with Iverson, and is now enjoying the life with her new love Dupart.
