Rapper DaBaby No Longer Canceled and Unemployed, After Finding His First Job In Nearly One Month

DaBaby hate train might have finally started slowing down. It has been a bad month for the North Carolina rapper who saw a series of shows and endorsements canceled following his rant at 2021’s Rolling Loud Festival. Its now being reported that he’s been able to book some new work, signaling a change in tide for the”Bop” hitmaker.

“Billboard Baby” was on a roll in 2021 with a seemingly unstoppable string of hits and viral moments. However that came screeching to a halt with homophobic, misogynist and ignorant rant that saw him also spreading some serious misinformation about the HIV/AIDS virus.

“If you didn’t show up today with HIV/AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up,” he told concert goers. “Ladies, if your ***** smell like water, put your cellphone lighter up. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking **** in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up.”

He was promptly canceled from a string of festivals following that including Lollapalooza, Governors Ball and Days N Vegas.

After a string of non apologies he eventually tried to release a proper one. “As a man who has had to make his own way from very difficult circumstances, having people I know publicly working against me knowing that what I needed was education on these topics and guidance has been challenging.”

When no one believed him, he pulled the apology off his social media and announced yesterday that he will be switching to R&B since hip-hop has canceled him.

One person far too familiar with being canceled is fellow rapper Lil Boosie. Boosie is known for his homophobic, transphobic and misogynistic rants online. Understanding the position DaBaby is in, Boosie decided to offer him a slot in his Boosie Bash.

The events been advertised as a pop up shop and seems like a step backwards for DaBaby who just came off a massive global hit with DuaLipa. Some have taken to social media to poke fun at him. How the mighty have fallen.
