Celina Powell has gained notoriety on the Internet for attaching herself to many rappers and involving them in cheating or pregnancy allegations. Her many scandals surrounding high profile celebrities have garnered her the title “Black Widow”, and seemingly she loves the attention as she never shies away from being attached to gossip.
The 24-year old Denver, Colorado native was born Celina Rae Powell on June 13, 1995. Her past allegations have involved celebrities such as Tory Lanez, Trey Songz, Snoop Dogg, and Tekashi 6ix9ine to name a few. In 2018, she brought rapper Offset into her web with claims that he had impregnated the rapper, with ultrasound photos to heighten her allegations. However, it was later proved to be false as she admitted it while talking with DJ Akademiks.
“Once again, there’s no baby,” Powell confessed while on Akademiks’ Twitch stream. “Get over it!… Y’all investigated this for nine months. I didn’t give a… I was laughing at you b—-s.” She then offered an attempted apology at Offset’s wife, Cardi B, although it seemed insincere. “I sincerely apologize if I made you for one second think that Offset was the father of my pretend baby,” Powell said while smirking.
She later appeared on Vivica Fox’s Face The Truth where she ultimately admitted it was all an extortion ploy. “No one even talked about money with Offset,” she said at first. “I didn’t even have a conversation with him about money. Cardi B and Offset didn’t even acknowledge it. They didn’t even care.” She was also joined by her ex-best friend, a woman named Cheyenne who then blurted out that a GoFundMe was set up for “boobs and a**” as well as her trying to get money for an “abortion” from the rapper. “At first she wanted me to help her get abortion money, $50,000 for an abortion,” she said.
Over a short period fo time Powell has amassed a flew of enemies in the entertainment industry at a young age, receiving lawsuit after lawsuit, cease and desist orders, and even restraining orders. Her name has come up once again just recently, this time involving Certified Lover Boy, Drake.
Drake has no trouble going viral or being in the headlines, as he is one of the biggest superstars on the planet. The rapper is used to scandals, and in the midst of putting finishing touches on his latest album, he’s found himself in some gossip that includes Powell.
The rapper was brought into “The Black Widow”’s presence when she texted what appears to be him in an apparent attempt to get with him. However, the Toronto rapper shot her attempts down in messages that have now spread like wildfire on social media thanks to a No Jumper post. In the text thread she’s seen announcing herself, to which Drake responds that definitely never provided her with his number. “ I know who u are. I want nooooooo parts,” he supposedly responds.
She then shares to the rapper that she had DM’d him her number. “Welp okay. N yes you did it’s still in my DMs but I don’t wanna upset you tho so I’ll stop.” Then Drake wrote back, “Doesn’t look like it lol,” to which she said, “I just wanted you to open my DMs thanks. I don’t wanna get blocked tho sooo I’ll exit now.”
This isn’t the first attempt that Powell has tried to get to the “Laugh Now Cry Later” rapper. In September of last year, Jamaican artist and frequent Drake-collaborator Popcaan exposed her attempt to have a tryst with the two of them. A since-deleted screenshot was posted on Instagram showing her creeping into Popcaan’s DM’s to apologize for incorrectly labeling him a “Toronto rapper”, to which he accepts and warns “don’t play with me or my island.”
Powell then boldly offers a form of “repayment” to the artist saying, “If you and Drake wanna run train on me, to teach me a lesson… I’m down.” After another request of Popcaan to tag her in a post, the artist declines harshly. “Yo betta move!!” he said, shunning her.
