Rapper Drake Now Charging Fans $80 To Smell What He Smells Like In Real Life, Rapper Announces Release Of ‘Drake Scented’ Candles

Rapper Drake has gotten in on the candle craze, right in time for the holidays – and knowing that candles cost more than music. The Canadian rapper has been inspired by his own scent and partnered with Swiss fragrance house Givaudan and perfumer Michael Carby to give his fans a sense of what the “Champagne Papi” smells like in person.

Much like superstar Beyoncé has sent out her Ivy Park line to a number of celebrities, blue check marks and even a few regular folks, Drake has used his own celebrity to drive the conversation about his new venture by gifting a whole host of people who then of course, tag him and drive traffic and discovery about his latest money-making venture.

The candles come packaged in navy blue and feature Drake’s handwriting splashed across the candle jars. Made in Canada, the Better World Fragance House candles come in 5 scents; Sweeter Tings, Williamsburg Sleepover, Good Thoughts, and Muskoka, which all retail for $48, and Carby Musk, which is inspired by Drake’s own personal fragrance and retails for $80, of course.

According to social media, Drake’s at least sent product to fellow music star Kehlani, Snoh Aalegra, sports star Steph Curry and his wife Ayesha, and a whole host of Toronto Raptor players such as Norm Powell, Fred Van Fleet, Kyle Lowry, and Stanley Johnson.

If you’re reading this, it’s probably already too late as the candles are already sold out. And if you missed out on Drake’s candle, you probably missed out on Travis Scott’s candle, too. He released a “Space Rage” candle in collaboration with BYREDO for $95 that’s also sold out.
