Rapper Flo Rida Refuses To See Special Needs 4-Year-Old Son, Zohar Paxton, Refers To Kid As ‘Wicked Child’ According To Mother, Alexis Adams

The climate in 2007 was harrowing for many: an international war on terror waged on, gasoline prices were well over $4 per gallon in many states, and the Great Recession’s tremors were already being felt. Some form of respite, as fleeting as it may have been came in the form of an unforgettable chorus: “…Apple Bottom Jeans/Boots with the Furrrr/The Whole Club was lookin’ at her/Next thing you know/She hit the flo’/Shorty got Low-Low-Low-Low-Low-Low-Low”… for many, quite an anthem. Flo Rida, the Florida rapper, legally named Tramar Lacel Dillard, gave the nightclubs a real ditty to get “Low” to.

Flash forward to 2016, and a romantic interest by the name of Alexis Adams informs him that she is pregnant with a son and that the Florida chart-topping rapper is the father. Adams alleges that Dillard was unabashedly dismissive of the news, refusing to believe her, until a paternity test confirmed a 99.9% DNA match between him and the then 3-month-old boy. 

According to Adams, who originally met Flo in 2015, “Flo Rida has only seen his son once during the paternity test but kept his shades on and his back turned. They were in the same room. He didn’t try to hug Zohar, nothing. It was very cold.” 

Advance in time again to the present day and Adams is publically chastising Dillard for the same, a blatant disinterest in seeing his son, the now 4 year-old Zohar Paxton.

Despite providing financial support (which includes medical coverage), Adams faults the moneyed recording artist for not establishing a relationship and providing fatherly care to a son, who was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, which is a neurological condition that allows an excess of cerebrospinal fluid to flood the brain. Hydrocephalus can cause nausea, vomiting, distorted vision and hearing, as well as an enlarged head. 

Even after a critical surgery, Adams asserts that Dillard failed to connect. “Even after Zohar’s surgery, he hasn’t reached out to find out if he’s okay,’ she stated. “I find it strange because Flo Rida is always involved in charities pertaining to kids. ‘Being a single mom going to a lot of doctor’s appointments and not knowing what else your son might need is heart-breaking.”

On charity and the aforementioned support, Adams’ lawyer Brian Robinson reports that Flo Rida hadn’t begun to pay child support until sometime in March of 2017 (about 5 months after Zohar’s birth) and also at an amount that was “significantly less than the later provisional amount chosen by the judge.” Adams would be successful in court one month later, procuring the increased sum for her special-needs son. Flo Rida would tell TMZ that he was paying her $5,000 a month and her legal actions were a “cash grab.”

Adams claims that the rapper called Zohar “an evil f’n’ child.” Adams refutes his judgment stating, “Zohar is very loving, he kisses and hugs everybody. He’s a very happy baby and interactive with people, that’s one thing people notice when they meet him.”

She also added, “Clearly Zohar’s not the only one and there’s a lot of things I can’t discuss but I’m sure the truth will come out;” which is perhaps an allusion to Flo Rida’s 2013 child support lawsuit made by Natasha Georgette Williams, a former model.
