Rapper Plies Covers For Kirk Franklin, Claims He Was The Goon Threatening To Put His Foot In Kerrion Franklin A**

Kirk Franklin and his son Kerrion have been a topic of discussion all weekend after Kerrion leaked footage of his dad cursing him out. In the clip posted to Kerrion’s Instagram, gospel legend Kirk can be heard speaking in a very unfamiliar manner for those only used to hearing him singing about the lord.

Kerrion has been putting his dad on blast for a few years now. He’s made several claims that his father was out to k*ll him.

In the recent clip, Kirk seemed pretty livid. While their full convo would provide more context, from what we do hear he sounded ready to lay hands on his eldest son for unknown reasons.

In the video, you can hear Kirk Franklin saying “I’ll put my foot in your a**” and “I will break your neck ni***, don’t you ever disrespect me.”

Kerrion captioned the clip saying “This is why I’m done. No father should speak to their children like this. If I have any issues it’s because of this type of treatment that I deal with behind closed doors.”

Kirk has since released a video about the incident, apologizing to fans for his choice in words.

“Many of you know I have an older son named Kerrion Franklin. In May, he’ll be 33. For many years, we’ve had a toxic relationship with him as a family,” he said. “We tried for many years through counseling, through therapy, to try and rectify this private family matter.”

While the issue is no laughing matter, Kirk’s meme partner Plies has decided to shine some light on the situation with a few funny tweets. If you recall, Plies and Kirk Franklin are dead ringers for one another. Something that couldn’t be more funny and ironic considering how polar opposite their brands are.

Commenting on the video of Kirk and his colorful language, Plies took to twitter and said “I Gotta Put My Dawg On The Album Now 4real!!!!! He Sounded Just Like Me On That Phone Bih!!!!!! #AintNoneOfUsPerfect

He joked that it wasn’t Kirk on the phone and that it was actually him. That Was NOT My Dawg On That Phone That Was ME!!!!!! #ITakeFullResponsibilityForThoseActions
