Saweetie and Quavo’s breakup takes a violent turn this week when footage came out of the pair fighting on an elevator. The Hip-Hop power couple called it quits earlier this month and have been slowly letting the tea spill on why. This video no doubt sheds new light on why the two decided to part ways.
Saweetie took to her twitter March 19th to announce she was back on the market. “I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character.” She elaborated“I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom. Excited for this new chapter of elevation.” She also alluded to Quavo trying to patch things up with gifts.

Quavo fired back with his own tweet saying, “I had love for you and disappointed you did all that. You are not the woman I thought you were. I wish you nothing but the best.”
The flashy couple have been public in the past showering each others with gifts. Quavo famously gifted Saweetie a Bentley. The Christmas gift was reportedly taken back after their split, with Quavo sending a repo man to get it back.

Newly surfaced video of their elevator fight has new conversations circulating as to why they might have broken up. TMZ obtained surveillance footage of the struggle, which went down at an apartment complex in North Hollywood. It shows both of them standing outside an open elevator, and when the video starts Saweetie is swinging on Quavo.
After she swings on him, he flings her into the elevator where she lays on the floor while they travel several levels. They eventually walk off, Saweetie limping behind Quavo.

Fans on twitter were quick to compare it to the famous brawl between Beyonce and Solange Knowles at the Met Gala several years ago.
