Rapper T.I. and Wife, Tiny Harris Release Statement

T.I & Tiny released a statement today to combat damning allegations made by former family friend Sabrina Peterson. Earlier this week Peterson revealed that Tip “T.I” Harris held a weapon to her head during a family dispute in front of kids. After Tiny dismissed these claims, Peterson doubled down accusing the couple of serious claims involving women and minors. Several women have reportedly come forward with similar stories and accounts.

In an amended statement made to Complex.com, a spokesperson for T.I and Tameka “Tiny” Harris stated that the couple thinks the allegations are “egregiously appalling” and alleged to have experienced “difficulty” with Peterson for more than 10 years.

Full statement below.

“Mr. and Mrs. Harris want to be on record and more importantly want the public to know they emphatically deny in the strongest way possible the egregiously appalling allegations being made against them by Sabrina Peterson. The Harrises have had difficulty with this woman for well over a decade. They are taking this matter very seriously, and if these allegations don’t end, they will take appropriate legal action.”

In her own post, Peterson reflected on her recent revelation and how they’ve help her heal from the past. “You never heal from the things you don’t reveal. Speaking to your pain, past experiences & getting them out allow you room to process them & cultivate some level of a healing plan.” She continued “TO MY WOMEN THAT ARE SPEAKING & MENTALLY SORTING OUT YOUR EXPERIENCES!”

As reported yesterday, several other woman came forward and continue to come forward with similar accounts. Peterson has been sharing them via her instagram stories. She’s also calling for a lie detector test to be done to support her claims. In her most recent post she asked for help finding “credible” sources. “Currently finding a CREDIBLE RESOURCE! If you know a CREDIBLE LIE DETECTION SERVICE PLEASE FORWARD ME THEIR INFO I WOULD LIKE TO GO TODAY!”
