The news in the Harris household just keeps getting worse as it is now being reported that more things that rapper T.I. is tied to are being severed amid accusations. Following reports that production on their VH1 show T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle had been suspended, it is now being reported that Marvel is following MTV’s lead.
T.I. and Tiny had already been during recording for the fourth season of their show when allegations began to surface, thanks to their former friend Sabrina Peterson. MTV chose to pull the plug “given the serious nature of the allegations,” as mentioned in a brief statement. Seemingly mirroring that decision is Marvel Studios.
It is now being reported in an article by The Hollywood Reporter that the Atlanta rapper/actor, real name Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., will not be returning to the reprise his role as “Dave” in the upcoming film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The film will soon begin production in Turkey and still has no release date but is expected in 2022. While the timing of the announcement occurs amid the tumultuous time, Variety is reporting that according to insiders close to the film, “T.I. was never slated to return.”
In addition, an attorney by the name of Tyrone A. Blackburn is asking for authorities to open an investigation in California and Georgia against the couple. Blackburn is operating on the behalf of a total of 11 accusers – ten women and one man, who have all been victims of Clifford Harris “TI” and his wife, Tameka Harris “Tiny” (collectively, “T&T”). During a media video conference, Blackburn listed detailed allegations from the unnamed alleged victims.
“This matter is ongoing and I suspect will evolve with the passage of time as more persons of interest come forward.” Mentioning the alleged accusers’ respective timelines, Blackburn shares “They all have various reasons why they took so long to come out. One of the reasons is that they did not think anyone would believe them.”
Steve Sadow, T.I. and Tiny’s attorney, issued a statement on behalf of the couple vehemently denying all allegations. “Clifford (T.I.) and Tameka Harris deny in the strongest possible terms these unsubstantiated and baseless allegations,” the statement read. “We are confident that if these claims are thoroughly and fairly investigated, no charges will be forthcoming. These allegations are nothing more than the continuation of a sordid shakedown campaign that began on social media. The Harrises implore everyone not to be taken in by these obvious attempts to manipulate the press and misuse the justice system.”
