The pandemic has stopped a lot of cash flow for people all over the world, especially if you’re someone that depends upon traveling and performing in enclosed spaces – like rapper Trina. Many folks have turned up the hustle dial while stuck at home but Trina’s catching extra flack for her latest moves in the game, similar to her old ones.
The site OnlyFans announced an official partnership with “Da Baddest B****” Trina, making her just another of the many celebrities and influencers that have joined the subscription-based service.
OnlyFans is a popular social media service that offers its users a way to create quick subscription-based content for their “fans” that has come to prominence in the last few years. It makes it easier for people with a following to have a closed community of supporters for their content. Of course, this also means that it has a large following because adult workers use it independently online for their own content, leveraging it for themselves.
Influencer and model Rubi Rose also joined OnlyFans, sharing her haul on her Instagram, while simultaneously encouraging other ladies to sign up and take care of business of their own on her Twitter timeline. Her report from the first day on the platform showed her making $22,000. Rose tweeted, “Men get paid higher than women in almost every field of work,” using that as a call to further push women to get their bag anyway they needed.
“Onlyfans gave females a platform to capitalize off what god gave em. idgaf what a [man] gotta say… run it up queen… It’s sexy as f—- when a [woman] about her money.”
Cardi B has even joined the platform. She had previously tweeted, and deleted, that she was doing a “partnership with only fans,” and said that every time someone starts a rumor that she will be addressing it there. She did, and after sharing some of her earnings from the site, fans are mad she’s taking money from “regular people.”
One fan from OnlyFans took a screenshot of some $100 tips that he gave to the star on her account and then tweeted at her on Instagram when he felt like he wasn’t getting his money’s worth, after tipping the rapper $800.

Cardi B retweeted his post, adding “Hi baby,” in hopes of showing him some love – and maybe keeping the tips coming, because who doesn’t love free money, especially rich folks. Cardi’s fans thought the same thing and started to tweet her negatively.
The same thing is happening to Trina now, after fans started to worry about her reason for joining the platform. Trina famously got her start as a stripper and has talked about her early history in her music, and fans wondered in what capacity she was joining the platform. There are already rumors of the rapper ‘returning to str*pping’ on the site. However, we doubt that will ever happen.
While Trina’s famously been very open about her sexuality in her music, it doesn’t seem that her account will be used in the way that other celebrities have taken to exploiting the platform. Though Blac Chyna is showing her feet, there are other uses for the platform and it appears that’s what Trina will be using it for.
According to the post, Trina will be sharing exclusive content and “offering her fans a chance to really get to know her.” There’s also mention of a live concert, showing that Trina has once again flipped her hustle in order to keep afloat during these different times.
