“I will tell you this, I will never let B2K die. I got something up my sleeve,” B2K member Raz B once told DJ Ace of BBC 1 Xtra. B2K’s recent reunion had been riddled with so many issues from the beginning, perhaps carried over from unresolved past situations within the group. Over the years, even though the group had disbanded, the drama and scandals seemed to continue. From rumors and allegations of financial wrong-doings to sharing partners, things seemed to continue to worsen, until the reunion tour was announced which made fans hopeful for B2K’s future.
Back in December of 2018, fans of the group were granted an unexpected early Christmas gift when band members Omarion, Fizz, Boog, and Raz B announced on their social media pages they would be embarking on a multi-city tour. “The Millennium Tour”, which also featured Mario, Pretty Ricky, Lloyd, Bobby V, Ying Yang Twins, and Chingy, became one of the highly anticipated events of 2019. Fans were excited to see the foursome on stage again, especially amidst drama that began to surround some of the members.
Less than a week after the tour’s start, Raz B announced on social media that he would be dropping off the tour due to concerns of his personal safety and with former manager Chris Stokes being around. “Raz B is officially off the tour,” he announced in a video posted to his social media. “I don’t feel safe because I feel like Chris Stokes is around. So guess what? I’m off the tour. Good luck to everybody. No disrespect to [Omarion] because he’s my brother. [Omarion] if you want to come talk to me and you want me to do the tour, I’ll do the tour, but I’m officially off the tour.”
He also added at the time, “Oh, guess what? I guess we’re about to shoot the new ‘Surviving Chris Stokes’ movie, right? So call Lifetime ’cause I’m ready to talk.” His brother, Ricardo “Ricky Romantic” Thornton, also confirmed the alleged sexual abuse and accused Stokes as well.
Hours later, however, all four members joined together in a video to assure fans that the tour would go on as planned with all four expected to grace the stage together. Raz B would also offer apologies to the fans and his reassurance that he would be continuing on. Stokes also took to Twitter to defend himself against Raz’s claims, as he did previously in 2007. “Negativity I will never play into,” he tweeted. “I never hurt any of B2K & Always had their best interest at heart including financially. I forgive any negative energy or tweets! God forgives and so do I. They back! Now stay positive in 2019 & Go get your tix! Enjoy them being back! Much love!”

As the tour progressed, more drama ensued thanks to tensions surrounding Omarion and Fizz after the latter became romantically involved with Apryl Jones, O’s former girlfriend and the mother of his children. Their issues made the atmosphere undoubtedly uncomfortable for the duration of the tour, which Raz spoke about with DJ Ace. “That whole thing right there was selfish. I don’t know what the hell that was,” he offered. “I don’t know if that was Mona Scott and just MTV. I don’t know what it is because I stayed away from it but there was something there. There was a lot going on that I didn’t know about.”
Raz went on to say that they have always had issues surrounding girls that have stemmed from their childhood. When asked if he believes if the two are simply competitive in nature, Raz states that perhaps one is trying to be like the other. “Maybe Fizz wants to be Omarion? I don’t know. I’m not taking shots at my boy. Maybe he wants to be number one. I don’t know. So, I can’t really speak on it,” Raz claimed. “For me personally, that’s a touchy situation. I don’t care if someone put a billion dollars in my face. I’m still not touching it.”
He continued: “There [were] internal issues that’s been going on since we were kids. I feel now that certain elements and certain management are out of the way, how do we come together as brothers and really deal with it? If there’s really no love there, which I know there is, then cool.”
Yet throughout all of their issues, Raz felt as though that was not the end of the group’s journey. “We’re always going to be brothers,” he told The Breakfast Club. “I think that sometimes brothers disagree but we’re all brothers. And I think the fact that we were all able to come back together for all our supporters out there speaks volumes.”
By the looks of some new and recent allegations from the talkative and embattled member, it seems as though fans should kill their hope. Raz took to his social media to share that their relationship looks to still be dysfunctional. “Just found out certain B2K members got me blocked! I just fed your kids n—a! They must be protecting pedophiles,” he wrote in a now deleted post, seemingly referencing Chris Stokes again.
