Rihanna Debuts Savage x Fenty Spring Collection With ‘Savage AF’ Instagram Post

In 2009 it was boldly proclaimed that Rihanna’s “reign just won’t let up”, and nothing could be further from the truth.  Miss Fenty has consistently taken her brand one step higher and higher as she dominates the fashion and beauty world with her “Fenty” brands.  And while fans are impatiently waiting for the follow-up to 2016’s Anti, she continues to focus on her brand.

With winter nearing its end, flowers are about to bloom and warm weather is gearing up to Spring on us.  Rihanna couldn’t wait to bring the flowery season in with some floral prints of her own.  Taking to social media, “Bad Gyal RiRi” shared a scorching vintage-looking snapshot as she’s lounging in a chair amongst vast greenery.

The Bajan-beauty took the simple approach with her caption, showing that pictures are worth a thousand words.  “Savage af. don’t trip,” she wrote.  The set comes from the popular lingerie’s springtime line.

This comes as news recently broke that two years after establishing her high-end designer “Fenty Brand” collection in conjunction with LVMH it would be going on indefinite hiatus.  “Rihanna and LVMH have jointly made the decision to put on hold the RTW [ready-to-wear] activity, based in Europe, pending better conditions,” read a brief statement that was provided by LVMH to Women’s Wear Daily.

While the “Wild Thoughts” singer has had savage focus on her brand, fans continue to question if the R9 era is still among us or has she given up on music.  Not too long-ago Rihanna told her fans who continue to apply pressure on the singer for the release of her new album to “grow up”.  She recently came on social media to troll her fans with what could be new music to be released, which was captured by The Shade Room.

Meanwhile, she promises that while there is no release date as of yet, music is coming.  “I can’t say when I’m going to drop,” she told British Vogue, “But I am very aggressively working on music.”  On what can be expected with the new music she said, “I don’t want my albums to feel like themes. There are no rules. There’s no format. There’s just good music, and if I feel it, I’m putting it out.”

For a long time, speculations arose that the next album would be a reggae album.  While she neither confirms nor denies that it will be her next album, the singer shares that it is indeed coming.  “Oh no, that is happening. I feel like I have no boundaries. I’ve done everything–I’ve done all the hits, I’ve tried every genre–now I’m just, I’m wide open. I can make anything that I want,” she stated.
