Stevie J Reveals He and Wife, Faith Evans Still ‘Get It In’ Three to Five Times A Day, Claims Marriage Changed Their Relationship

Ask anyone who has been or currently is married and they will tell you without reservation: marriage is not easy.  Marriage takes hard work and healthy communication amongst other factors in order to sustain a happy household and life.  No one marriage is perfect, but when all the contributing factors mesh well together it can produce a masterpiece.  Although it’s hard, fairly newlyweds Faith Evans and Stevie J are giving it their all in order to make theirs work.

Stevie J and Faith Evans have known one another for many years before making the decision to begin dating. While on the Bad Boy Reunion Tour Stevie J says to The Breakfast Club that he began to see his “best friend” in a different light. “I just feel that I shouldn’t have crossed that line because once you cross that line, emotions really overwhelm,” he explained. “Once you start dating your best friend, it’s a little different.”

It wasn’t that easy for their friendship to transition into romance.  Faith shared that she initially didn’t take him seriously at first.  “I never took Stevie J serious actually,” Evans said in her own interview with the radio show. “I think probably in the last 10 years, I would say, is he trying to flirt? Let’s go. But I never saw him like that. I have always had plenty of male friends. Never dated any of them. I was just really cool like that. I think I really should have been a boy or something. But I’m just cool with dudes. I would check on him, just hear if he was going through stuff, and find out how to get in touch with him….[I was] Just really sincerely his friend.”

Finally, after much convincing, she finally gave their love a chance.  “I don’t know what made me even finally say okay, but he convinced me, I ain’t even gonna lie,” Faith Evans shared. You know, I’m like, ‘you know I’m not about all the craziness. If I’m going to be in a relationship, it’s gotta be a serious one. You know?’ And I think probably for a few months he definitely went through the convincing and not getting a real response. You know, just, even though I was brushing him off, [he was] like, ‘no for real I really wanna be with you, I love you.’ And I’m like, ‘I love you too, but I don’t know if I wanna be with you.’ You know what I’m saying?”

What’s one of the things that keeps their marriage exciting?  Stevie J got a chance to share with PEOPLE magazine exactly what it was. “I got to put in more work, know what I’m saying? I upped it from three to five times a day,” he said, suggestively about their sex life.  Evans responded knowingly, “I knew he was going to go there with it.  I already knew.”

The couple have also spoken about possibly having a child together.  Already having 10 children between them from previous relationships, they shared with Wendy Williams that the they have thought about it possibly via surrogate.
