T.I. Claims A Father Spending Time With His Daughter Is ‘Thot-Prevention Hours’ To Keep them Off The Pole, Says Every Father Must Do It

Rapper T.I. seems to keep getting in trouble for the views that he shares on his podcast ExpediTIously with T.I. The rapper more than likely doesn’t believe most of his comments to be controversial but in 2020, all bets are off the table. Celebrities are getting pinged left and right for their thoughts and T.I.’s up next with his on daughters that become a “thot.”

His own experience raising daughters is something T.I. relies on heavily, though he’s seriously seemed to strain the relationship with one of them during the pandemic — his daughter Deyjah. He was taken to task earlier this year for sharing intimate, harmful details about the young woman’s personal life.

T.I.’s brand of fatherhood seems to be a bit uneven between how he raises his daughters and his sons, with many also taking note of the special brand of leeway that he seems to give his sons, versus the strict nature he imposes upon his daughters, which many learned thanks to Deyjah’s story that T.I. also told on a podcast.

After revealing that he used to take Deyjah to the gynecologist on her birthday to make sure she was still a “virgin,” Deyjah’s embarrassment was visible on social media as she at one point deleted them all.

Finally, during the latest season of T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle, viewers got the chance to hear from Deyjah on the matter.

“I’m scrolling on Twitter and I see I’m tagged in a post and all I see is ‘gynecologist,’ and I didn’t even need to read the whole title. I just knew. My heart sank. I’m very shocked, hurt, angry, embarrassed.”

Deyjah discussed the whole ordeal with her cousins when she reveals that she’s not sure how this was going to affect her relationship with her father going forward.

“I just can’t really be around him right now,” Deyjah said. “I’m not saying he’s a bad parent, but when it comes to stuff like this… I’m just going to be more connected mentally and emotionally. I don’t know. I don’t want to say I’m looking at him differently because of this — I don’t know. More so our relationship, I’m going to look at differently.”

Once again, T.I.’s said something that has people wondering what his obsession must be with treading into hot water about his philosophies on raising daughters. Sitting with rapper 21 Savage during a discussion of their children, T.I. made the statement that is making the rounds – and which seemed to make 21 Savage uncomfortable.

While simultaneously lambasting adult workers, T.I. thinks that fathers don’t spend time with their daughters are actually encouraging their daughters to become “thots,” saying that the time spent equals “thot prevention.”

“You got to do that! If ya a** don’t do that, her a** gonna be somewhere in Magic City, trying to figure it out,” said T.I. about what happens when fathers don’t set an example.

“If you ain’t putting in your thot prevention hours then your daughter end up a dancer, don’t blame her,” T.I. then ends the clip saying accusing the fathers for their lack of involvement and in setting a positive example in their lives.
