Tekashi 6ix9ine, America’s favorite troll, doesn’t know how to leave well enough alone. The “Trollz” rapper has his share of enemies in AND out of the industry, and continues to add to the fast growing list. On the latest episode of “Who’s Next: Trollz edition”, we have frequent offender Cardi B who is once again, on the receiving end of the rapper’s antics.
6ix9ine, aka Daniel Hernandez, recently released his latest album “Tattletales” on September 4. After its release, the album was originally projected to hit the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 Album charts with sales of 150K, but it ended up debuting at #4 on the charts with sales of 53K, of which 32K were pure album sales.
With the hype of the album not quite reaching the heights as his trolling does, the rapper has been doing the most in the hopes to keep his name in the news cycle. Several media outlets have reported the rapper and his team have been reaching out in desperate attempts to land an interview.
Both Gillie Da Kid and Joe Budden have revealed the rapper’s team has reached out and that they have both declined requests for interviews, with Joe explaining in detail how it went down, and Gillie Da Kid exposing audio of the phone call.
Who has chosen to give Hernandez a platform is The Shade Room, where they accepted his request for an interview. In a clip that has surfaced online from the upcoming interview, the rapper seems to be tossing some shade towards rappers Cardi B and Offset, once again.
“Look at the biggest stars, before they were stars,” 6ix9ine says in the clip. “They was in the club getting trains run on them. And now just because they a star, their man loves them.” He then doubles down on the shade, although not naming the rapper specifically, insinuates where the direction is aimed by shouting out the Barbz, while also claiming that he too is still considered a Barb (referring to stans of Nicki Minaj).
“You know who got ran through New York?” he says, before the host asks if he is speaking on a female rapper. “I don’t want to hurt no feelings. Let’s keep it moving. Where my Barbz at?”
The issues between the two could have started due to 6ix9ine being romantically linked to his girlfriend Jade, who also has a history with the “Bodak Yellow” rapper. She and her sister, Baddie Gi, were employed as bartenders at an NYC strip club when they were involved in a brawl with Cardi. The alleged ordered attack was due to suspicions of Jade having an affair with Offset while they were together.
Cardi was later indicted on 14 charges, which she plead not guilty on all charges. Jade also exposed messages from what appeared to be Offset dm’ing her on Instagram, but both Cardi and Offset denied those claims, saying the account was hacked.
No response from Cardi or Offset as of yet, as this comes on the heels of news that the WAP rapper has filed from divorce from her soon to be ex-husband.
