Tiny Harris Reveals Kandi Burruss & Latocha Scott ‘Turned Room Upside Down’ During ‘Wild Brawl’ Before Xscape Break Up, Refuse To Say Who Won

You may not remember the song, but singer Tiny from classic R&B group Xscape does. Back in the 90’s, The Notorious B.I.G., aka Biggie Smalls, released a song that had a list of people the rapper dreamed of bedding. Unfortunately, Xscape didn’t make the list and Tiny’s reminiscing upon about it in a recent interview.

Decades after the height of the infamous West Coast vs. East Coast hip-hop war, Snoop shared a story recently during the pandemic about Biggie, hip-hop history and how Pac’s death affected them all.

“[Lil] Cease takes me upstairs, Biggie is upstairs in a walker — like what the old people walk around in,” Snoop shared. “He got the little walker sitting at the edge of the bed. And when I walk in the room, we started talking. And then he looked me in my eyes. He said something that — he’s sad that Tupac is dead, but I can look in his eyes and I could see that he hurt. He didn’t even have to say it. I could see that he hurt behind 2Pac being dead.”

Though Biggie, Snoop and Tupac got into it over his infamous New York diss record “New York, New York,” Biggie got into a tiff with another group in the business over some of his lyrics. Biggie was known for his antics with women, including widow Faith Evans and mistress Lil Kim and his lyrics often boasted of his “sexcapades” and encounters, but one song got him into trouble in the past.

On the song “Just Playing (Dreams),” Biggie rapped, “I’ll f**k RuPaul before I f**k them ugly a** Xscape b****es.” The line was proceeded by a list of R&B artists that he would sleep with, including Tina Turner, Toni Braxton and others.

Sitting down with DJ Vlad, Tiny spoke on the old encounter she had with Biggie back at the VIBE party where the rapper was fatally shot – sharing that the two made up before the rapper’s passing.

“There was a couple of times after the ‘Dreams’ song that– we had a couple of shows and Jermaine would be like, ‘Biggie wants to see y’all. He wants to talk to y’all.’ And, you know, some of the girls were like, no,” expounded Tiny.

“I just remember us not wanting to deal with him. Not wanting to talk to him. And then, at the Vibe party, he was there, and someone came to us and said Biggie wanted to speak to us. Kandi was like, ‘I’m not going over there. I don’t wanna talk to him.’ So, I was just like, I’ll go over there. So, I went.”

Biggie in the end apologized directly to the rapper, even joking that he was “ugly” himself and had no business talking about the women of Xscape.

“He basically apologized for saying that, that he thought we were beautiful. He was like, ‘I’m an ugly motherf***er and I ain’t had no business talking about nobody’, you know. We laughed and we hugged or whatever and it was all good. And then, you know…”

During the same interview, Tiny revealed Xscape members Kandi Burruss and Latocha Scott feud got so bad at one point the two got into a fist fight . “We only had really two fights. Me and Kandi had a little slap. Little quickie. I was pregnant so it wasn’t that bad but we did have a little slap here and there, got into it a little. And then Tocha and Kandi finally got into a fight, as well. It just seemed like it was a long-overdue time because they were always kind of back and forth and it finally escalated into a real fight.”

According to Tiny, the brawl took place inside a rehearsal hall and when it was all over the room was turned upside down. The singer did not give details on who actually won the fight and said viewers will have to watch the Xscape movie to find out.
